But wowwwww at those bases. The proficiencies are nice, but he ain't ever going on a Voyage.

Those are the first decent (not great, but decent) proficiencies for Gauntlet that we've seen on a 4* crew in a while.

I'd argue better than decent. The only purples with more total proficiency are Lieutenant Valeris and Commander Donatra, both 3-skill crew. He has the highest 4* gauntlet pair in the game at 1070 average roll (Mirror Phlox 1028 for reference, in a far less competitive skill pair).

Five SR with a better single roll than his 587 SEC - Marshal Q (647 CMD) and Mirror Phlox, Nurse Faith Garland, Doc Crusher, Antaak all MED rolls.

Edit: He actually has the #1 SEC and SCI roll for purples. Figured someone would have him beat for SCI, at least.

Not every crew needs to be good at everything. Players have been asking for new gauntlet crew for a while. And WRG delivered.

He's still A SR so a lot of experienced players may not use him, but I still see all the other SR mentioned above in gauntlet, so I'm sure there will be plenty of players who make use of him.

Well, i'm closing in on all the purples, so I bit. Hit him first try. Needed stars on Tau and all the Golds were new, so I opened more. Hit 4 Traitt, 1 Tau, final star on Moral Torres, Tribble Scotty in a begold and maxed my Kumari and boosted several other ships. I'm happy.

I froze him but wished I I could use him in captains arena. Can't do much with the skill set but all the aliens Tomlinson plays are great.

His numbers are very good for a purple, but he's still not good enough to be of any real use. SEC/SCI puts him up against some real heavy hitters; Away Team Burnham, Gary Seven, Armus, Commander Bem, Species 8472 and others. If he had a good selection of traits then he'd be a lot more useful, but he only has 5 and 3 of those never show up in gauntlet. He's so close to being useful, but not close enough.
