Who Is the Best Crew Member To Have?

Banjo1012Banjo1012 ✭✭✭✭✭
I had this thought as I am one star away from immortalizing Degra. Great ENG/SCI stats. Once I get that last star I can see him as my most valuable crew member.

  • And ^this is why I want Emotion Chip Data. Best Trek character getting what he always wanted.

    I approve this statement. ;)

(As you might guess, I have a special fondness for ol' yellow eyes myself.)

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

  • A shame, then, that my favorite hasn't been added. Can't believe they passed up on Assimilated Lieutenant Hawk during the Borg Event.

By these sentiments then I will go with Commander T’Pol as she is my favorite Star Trek character (by character development, not looks). I guess I should have said it as “most useful character in your game”

Ok, if you want me to say most useful so far? It's a pretty big toss up between Prisoner O'Brien and Bridge Officer Troi. Both have been great while I've worked up stronger Eng/Med respectively.

Best card stat wise has to be First Officer Burnham. My personal favorite card I own is probably Cmd. Jadzia Dax.

That's where it's from! I didn't look closely at the art, I thought it was from Nemesis, with him holding up a glass to toast Riker and Troi at the party. Although now that I think of it, he was in dress uniform them. And the normal uniforms had switched to DS9 grey anyway. I only got him today, I hadn't had time to think it through... Well now I'm much more fond of him.

(Same thing happened with 5* Jadzia, for the longest time I thought she was holding some science gizmo, until I took a closer look and realised it was a Tongo deck.)

Ha ha, I thought she was holding a Brain!

  • I like Guinan.

Why? I think Whoopi is awesome. I've always liked her. I loved Jumpin' Jack Flash as a kid. I have no idea why. I was a kid!

Plus she's on my Gauntlet crew, and I like the Gauntlet.

And she's a beast on Voyages, even though I only have her at 3*. Still need some more luck before she disappears :cold_sweat:

You know, I've never been a fan of her work, but I absolutely love her as Guinan. I love the role, and think she's perfect in it.

I guess my best is immortal RAF O'Brien. My favorite is probably Sherlock Data at 4/5. When he gets his 5th he will resume command of security.

You don't like Whoopi? Set phasers to maximum!! :naughty:

My favourite thing about her in Next Gen is her interaction with Picard; she plays down, where she always played up in the past, the foil between her and Patrick Stewart is classic.

  • Right now? First Office Burnham. Insane Command stats. Her Science is also over 1k.

Not quite over 1000 but possibly with a maxed out starbase

  • Been a fan of Detective Data. Get's a lot of event use. Stats have held up fairly well despite stat creep. Fun character and I like the artwork.

BQ and Locutus are probably my favorites, and most useful to boot. I'll also join the #loveData bandwagon, but don't yet have a really useful one.

Emotion Chip Data has evaded me so far. Hoping to get him soon.
I have all other Data varients Immortalised... just waiting for him.
  • I wish Garak, Elim Garak and Bashir, Julian Bashir were more useful. I have both 2/5 but they mostly just sit there looking cool.

As for useful, I'd lean towards Arachnia or Borg Queen. They get a lot of use for me.

I get a lot of mileage from the Daxes -- having Klingon Bride FFFE really has made a difference recent events as well as normal day to day stuff.

She's another one that is avoiding me. :/
  • To summarize, all characters can be useful in certain areas of the game at certain times. There is no one single character that does it all.
