Latest Steam Version Hanging

Anybody having issues with latest steam release failing to respond when trying to close either via exit game or the red X if you cba with the menu way.

    Yes, I have to force kill the app.

    It would help to have more information as I was able to close the game properly, on win10.
    The game is windowed and I used the x from the game window.
    Then I tried with the "exit game" option in settings.
    Both times the game shut down properly.

    Try playing the game for a while and then it happens.
