Make all versions of Picard gardeners

It seems to me that while we don't see most versions of Picard actually doing gardening, he promotes food growth more than anyone else in Star Trek.

...He is always telling people "Make it sow."

    But he never sends them back to weed or reap, so he's not a very good gardener, is he? Such a bad example for a Starfleet officer. He never finishes what he starts!

    You make a very good point. On the other hand, officers don't finish it, they command that others finish.

    Are you sure he's not telling everyone to, "Make it sew?" After all, he did get Starfleet to redesign their uniforms after 2 years on the Enterprise. I'd say that makes him "Inspiring!"
