UFP: Practically Recruiting (Active, Level 134 Maxed Starbase)

THE UNITED FEDERATION OF PRAGMATISTS ("UFP") has a couple of openings for active players!
We're a casual and at the same time competitive fleet. Several of us push for the top 1K in event rankings, while others just dabble or even skip events entirely. And at the end of each event, one of our captains gives an entertaining summary highlighting fleet and individual accomplishments.
We are quite active on Discord, where we discuss gameplay tips, organize squads, give crew advice, and just chat about stuff. For the players who like to shuffle squads for faction events, either to take the lead or support those who do, we have a dedicated channel on our Discord server for just that purpose.
We have among our captains:
• An old man who isn't grumpy unless you get on his lawn
• The aforementioned event summarizer (and DataCore coder!)
• An illustrious mod of the main Discord server
• Two captains who were FTM
• A few chatty folks
• Players from around the world
• Some newbies (or recent newbies) -- we love newbies
If I forgot anybody, it's because they got on my lawn.
All we ask of you is that most days, you do your dailies. We don't care if you're VIP 0 or VIP 14, and while we'd love it if you join us on Discord, we'd at least like you to have an account and respond to any mentions or DMs in a timely fashion.
Anyway, if all this of interest to you, please PM your in-game name, what you're looking for in a fleet, and what you'll bring to one, and we'll go from there.
