Premium/Event pack MUST BE CHANGED!

I just opened 15 premium packs and they were all rubbish!

Not a single legendary crew.... heart breaking

Purples or behold purples were mostly duplicates - I only kept 2.
I have so many purple crew that are not 4/4 yet.
What's the odd of not getting them in the behold? Apparently big chance.

Plenty of worthless schematics too cannot be converted to a bit worthless honor point.

Please have all purple/yellow as behold options & provide 6 options instead of 3.
DB/Shan/Erin... whoever reading this... please change this and make our investment worth it!!

I know many players have reported the same issue.
This is not the first time for me either. Last time 1-2 months ago I opened 20 packs without a single legendary also.
At that time, DB CS told me it was normal according to design, but clearly it is rubbish.
I told my self not to by anymore pack..... but then I did :'(

So this time.... until this is changed, I will NOT invest any more money in this game other than monthly VIP.

    I agree there is gambling aspect with loot box/pack and I don't expect to get all good pulls all the time

    But I am hoping (wishful thinking) that we can get something more useful out of buying packs since they are not exactly slot machines.

You don't get to take the characters home, you don't get to keep them if the game shuts down, YOU DON'T OWN ANYTHING! But they get your money.

    Imagine if a car manufacturer would show you the finished car, sell it to you...but you actually can't go over 30km/h unless you pay for each extra 10km/h, the gas tank can hold up to 50l but you get a 10l upgrade every 50k km - 75k km etc or you pay extra, you get only one seat, each extra seat costs extra and so on!

    In this case, I am paying for my entertainment, but asking me to pay for something knowing that i get nothing if I win or lose...that is not entertaining!

    I stopped incentivizeing the loot machine of premium packs one year and a half ago (at least, with my money... I'm more than happy to redeem premium packs for free). Sadly for me, there are still loads of people who decide to incentivize the current monetization scheme.

    Threads like this, to me, always read like "I voted yes to premium packs as they are and I have buyer's remorse so can we pretend I actually voted no instead of yes?"


    So, @Edrehashivar , I trust that DB's marketing department are having a blast looking at your contributions to their finances. Actions count more than words, and your actions speak very clearly.

    I'm not bothered about the rate of winning gold crew, you win some, loose some.

    But it's high time to update that pack to include all active crew and all ship schematics.

    That's the major malfunction of the premium pack.

    Don't buy packs. Seriously don't encourage them. It shouldn't even be legal for them to sell packs without displaying the odds, they're preying on people with addictive tendencies.

    Lol.... Sadly, I agree to that. I just spent $150 this thangksgiving for honey bare packs + 2 cyber deal monday as my token of appreciation of this game

    Yeah. I am not ready to join AA group but I will stop buying the packs from now on.

    Thanks Q. I have read forum enough to see that many players complaining about this.
    The shamu prob don't care the some whales most likely are devastated when they see behold of legendary duplicates.

    We know going in that the odds of getting a legendary from a pack pull are low. And, the continuum that doles those out isn’t a steady and fair straight line where you get one every 30 characters in accordance with the average. That line is a roller coaster, above and below the means, where some people get more at times, and some people less. I have cases where in 20 pack pulls I received squat. At other times, well one time really, I received 10 legendary toons in 15 pulls (extremely rare). It’s a chance you take when buying a pack. Anyone buying packs has to know that going in... and yes, it blows when squat is the outcome. I like this analogy...”The pan is hot. I know it’s hot. I touch it and burn myself.     I don't blame the pan, i "blame" the fire or whatever making it hot. :)

    Just got the 30 premium pack offer.
    But this time, i will have to pass....

    We could really do with a system where by we could exchange the duplicates for honour or something, oh wait, that is already in place you just need 90 of them!

    I bought the 15 pack cyber deal and had 2 legendaries out of the second pack, rather depressing but I did make good use of the chronos and the dil netted me HoneyB so only a small bitter taste in my mouth

    These pack offers are an easy pass for me now until the crew exchange rate is fixed or they offer a better mechanism to deal with duplicates.
