Primal Mixed Behold - feedback and results

One of the new features promised for version 8.2 was mixed-rarity behold packs. The community expressed some trepidation about what that might look like. The Primal Mixed Behold is the first implementation of it - so now we know. In short - a mix of rarities (in this case, 6x5* and 4x4*) with even chances of getting any of them (in this case, 10 cards, so 10% chances in each slot).
Now that we've seen it - what are your thoughts?
I decided to gamble on it. I have all the 4* cards and two of the 5* cards immortalized, so I was not thrilled about my odds, but wanted to try it out just for the experience. At 1300 dilithium, it's slightly less than the birthday-style beholds, so as long as I got one of my four needed legendaries, I'd call it a win. I did 1 pull - at this price point and with my crew situation, I wasn't willing to gamble more than that. (Drop the price and I might have tried more than once.)
Took Worf.

The only reason I might change my mind in the future is if I need and want literally every gold offered. Even then, I'd be nervous about the possibility of an all purple behold.
Make it 1000, and I'd be a lot more comfortable gambling. Honestly, I don't know why WRG nickels and dimes us to death so much. 1300? Why just a 200 discount? It just seems a bit tacky to me.
For a single Behold, albeit a more "directed" one?
Not sure the economics of the game support that kind of gamble. Maybe at the same price as a Ten Pull {Which people have posted at least four Beholds being a possibility} would be more in line with a doable price.
I hit Protomorphosis Riker, Horta, and Hoshi. I added the 3* to my Hoshi.
I'm thinking the pulls need to be discounted just a bit more.
*1500 dil is Faction Store/Birthday Behold with a gold guaranteed.
*650 guarantees a purple.
* That's a difference of 850 dil. This was a 200 dil discount. That's still TWICE a normal premium pull for one behold, albeit with a near guaranteed gold. 1000 would be better or even lower.
EDIT- Forgot I had Spock and I-Chaya immortalized too, plus it doesn't say a guaranteed gold. The stats just make it very likely.
It doesn't guarantee a gold though. While it's very likely to have at least one gold in it (especially with the ratio of this pack) it could also be a purple-only behold.
I didn't go for it because I don't need or want any of the crew in the pack (except for Mutated Paris) but it doesn't seem pointless per se, as long as there's only a few options in it, like this time.
It could be a good idea to use it as a birthday pack for birthdays that aren't milestones (all the ones that are skipped at the moment). That way it would probably be appealing to those who like a specific character and it would still have a similar number of cards in it, which makes it less likely to be a complete waste of dilithium.
Does it say there is a guaranteed Gold? Has anyone got an all Purple non-mixed one? Or is every Pull mixed Purple/Gold?
Just asking for clarification. Since communication does not always happen in the game.
The pool is split 6/4 holds to purples with guaranteed no repeats.
First slot has a 40% chance of being a purple.
If the first slot is a purple, slot two has a 33% chance of being a purple.
If the first two are purple, slot three has a 25% chance of being purple.
If I remember my stats class from high school correctly, that means that an all purple behold would only happen 3.3% of the time.
I'll take a 96%+ chance of a gold, especially when there is better than an 65% of it being one I can use.
EDIT- Did more math. Odds of a begold is ~16.6%, so about 1 in 6. Not bad.
Protomorphosis Worf (Not owned)
Protomorphosis Riker (2*)
Mutated Paris (3*)
I took the gold one Worf of course.
