This is a rough outline of a proposal for a new game mechanism. It would combine answering Star Trek trivia questions with a comprehensive Galaxy Mapp expedition.
* Add an Engage icon (planet?) above the 1/14 Missions arrow.
* RNG flings you to a random location on the Galaxy Mapp, including the 10 "Undiscovered" ones.
* You must correctly answer a trivia question about that location. Three choices, dilemma or bot-check style.
* Upon incorrect answer, you are flung back to wherever & must start over.
* Upon correct answer, you must successfully complete (or re-complete) an away mission at that location, earning all the node stars (crits) at each level. You get to keep the loot.
* Game keeps track of cleared locations (similar to "remembering where we parked"), so no repeats.
* Limit of one location per day, Wordle™️-style, so no speed or grind required.
* After all (94?) locations have been visited, receive a major award and/or unlock the Beta Quadrant.
