Brooch vs. Broach

The correct spelling for the piece of jewelry in question is brooch, as in "Grateful Lwaxana's Brooch". "Broach" is a somewhat archaic term meaning to raise a difficult topic of conversation. Sorry to be a nerd, but this has been bugging me for weeks!!!

Whilst we're at subject, I would like to point out that Returning Saru is also wearing a brooch, but for some reason his is called a 'pin'. While there is a broad definition of both, I'd say it's more of a brooch than a pin.
