1701 or 1701-D Endurance Event text Mismatch

The NCC 1701-D is the ship specified in the new Pike Endurance Event descriptive text for the ship battle challenge.

It doesn't work but the NCC 1701, no bloody A, D, or E does.

Looking at the event, I do not see the mention of 1701-D
    Do you see something different?

Oh its the 1701D thats used in the Skirmish event. My mistake.

It seems quite odd that the Enterprise Pike endurance event uses Kirk's Enterprise 1701 when there is a Pikes Enterprise version of the ship available.

Pike is an elite card. Doesn’t matter what his skills are… they are elite and will supplant many existing crew on current rosters. Win.

Pike’s Enterprise is a 5* ship that a fair percentage of the playerbase might not have yet. The 4* OG Enterprise is a ship most players get very early in the game. Endurance events are intended to be long (hence the name) but also achievable for everyone that plays regularly. Using a more widely owned ship - and the ship that started it all - is a good call. Win.

Pike is the face of SNW, not Spock. Pike is the appropriate crew to celebrate the debut of SNW. Win.

There have been a few glitches this week. The endurance event is not one of them. Enjoy! 🖖

On the flip side, this endurance event could have been a great opportunity to earn Pike's Enterprise as a reward, which would provide much more value than an extremely old 4* ship. Since schematics are relatively easily earned after 100 shuttles (about halfway through the event if you're only running 7-8 shuttles for daily achievements), there would still be plenty of time for somebody to use that better ship to complete the 250 ship battles requiring it.
    Good point. 🖖

I suspect the plan was to stop the ship being used in the Skirmish, and all the battles being completed over the weekend. Which ignores the fact that ship battles will.be ad warped to get Intel.

All previous endurance events have given away 600 schematics for the 5 star ship. From my point of view, the benefits of a free 5 star for new players, outweigh the other points.

I was also hoping for this.

For a brief time, the ISS Enterprise 5* was returning OE ship battle points. One of my fleetmates has just reported that it has stopped.
