"The Daystrom Award" 2VP for 2 hour missions

I was just time boosting through missions when I noticed that I was hardly getting any VP.... Well with only 2VP it does go really S L O W g757qea192ho.png

This is a long standing issue with the displayed duration. If you submit that mission, if will show 1 minute duration. If you restart the client, you should see the proper duration. Otherwise, always check the VP, because that will be correct and the duration will be appropriate to the VP.

This wasn't just a display glitch... I actually received 2VP on 2 hour missions after I had restarted the game to correct it. I have raised this issue before and everytime everyone (at support) claims it to be a graphical glitch but that the appropriate time/vp is awarded and I have now found in multiple events that sometimes time and/or vp at times is awarded incorrectly.

  • But it does seem strange that this glitch has not been addressed while it has been around a long time.... Can they just fix issues instead of add new ones :(

The event hasn't been running for 2 hours yet, so how did you complete a 2 hour mission? If you used a time reducer, it should have finished immediately regardless of what kind of boost, because it was actually a 1 minute mission.

I understand you think it's not the issue everyone says it is, and maybe you're right. But we'd need to know exactly what you did and what happened to properly assess that. Otherwise, people will say exactly what I said - it was really a 1 minute mission that displayed the wrong duration.

You are right.... As I said I used time reducers and so it is not possible for me to determine actual time. So I can not claim that... I guess it then suckered me into wasting good time reducers :(

    Still pretty **tsk tsk**

  • Can someone please fix this for the next shuttle event.... I hate having to quit/reload etc all the time because I can't trust that what is shown to me is actually correct

Until they do fix it, you can use the table here. The VP shown as in your screenshot will be correct. Then you can see the correct duration from the table.

Quit/Reload would not even help. It shows proper chance/time for new/current ones, but NOT old already opened ones.

    You must be new here?!

  • before you start the mission, click the VP icon in the lower left corner...
if it says 2VP, then it is a 1 min mission in "disguise"(grahical errors)
if you hit start.. the time will flip from 2hrs to 1 min and start the countdown...

if it says 500VP then it is a true 2 hr mission.
