What's the longest voyage anyone's been on?

I was kind of wondering what is the longest voyage anyone's been on. That's including restarting ones that have suffered "system failures" by using dilithium. Also, if you keep one going long enough, does it give you really good rewards or just the same stuff as early on?

  • About 50 hours is my personal best, here is the link to my thread with the results and data https://forum.disruptorbeam.com/stt/discussion/153/results-from-my-over-48-hour-voyage#latest

I did a 48 hour. There’s a post about it here. Prolly a few pages down by now. I highlighted the main loot. 17 Buper Rare crew, over 5000 chrons, over 300 rations...
  • Longest free voyage so far has been 7h47m, accomplished earlier this week on a SEC primary / ENG secondary run (8780 SEC / 9032 ENG). I started with 2625 and had 137 AM remaining, so I could possibly have gone a few more minutes.

I've only refreshed a few times, and each time it was only once. I don't remember exact details, but it was around 9hXXm. Or maybe 8hXXm. I don't know really.

Yeah. My longest free voyage was 7 hours and 44 minutes. The extended voyages were probably 8-10 hours but those don't really count
  • We shall see what happens today, but because of the many Voyages glitches, I have a voyage returning from a 22 day mission in about 30 minutes. (took 8 days & 6 hours for the recall)

The entire time it was giving me dilemma warnings every few hours, and seemed to resolve themselves and continue.

I FULLY expect it to be a failed mission because of all the bugs, but I am intrigued to see if it allows me to see the loot table, bugs not withstanding.

  • Captain Sisko pointed out that he did a 3-day Voyage in the “Wiki Edits” thread here: https://forum.disruptorbeam.com/stt/discussion/comment/17903/#Comment_17903

He said it hit all 35 Dilemmas at which point they stopped showing. He stated that dilemmas do not duplicate, so if you get Blow by Blow, you will not see it again during that Voyage. So that changes the odds a little bit to possibly get Fierce Guinan or Colonel Worf, but to go this long you will revive the Voyage 28-30 times at a hefty dilithium cost!

I've hit the 5th dilemma twice. I extended both Voyages because I slipped up and didn't recall either before the AM ran out. Both had nice loot already accumulated.

I made it to 8:10 once without a recharge. The primary trait was still passing hazards at that point.

In the process of the 'clear the table' voyage- which is a hair over 3 days. Gotta get those exclusive cards.
  • The longest free voyage I actually did today, and it clocked at 8 hours 25 minutes with CMD/SEC combo (I had 9900 CMD, 9300 SEC, 5500 DIP, 4000ish ENG and SCI and 2000ish MED). I used the wiki strategy, and it worked wonders. Keep your 2 main skills at 9500+ and sacrifice a tertiary skill or two and it's awesome.

Sadly, unless you have a great luneup, combos including ENG, SCI and MED can't easily get that high.
  • Thanks for all the responses! I've seen free voyages discussed here, but never paid ones until now. I've been trying to decide whether or not to try it. I probably will, but I don't think I'll be spending 4,500 dilithium!

I can assume you read the results of my thread...i agree in that it isn't worth it for those rewards. Now throw in some 10x premium pulls or a chance for legendary crew past hour 20 and then it might be worth it. Still voyages are awesome!!

I'd suggest you shoot for 10 or 12 hours. At that point, you should get a good return on your dilithium investment (a couple hundred dil, probably), with as many as 1000 chrons and possibly some 4* crew to show for it, as well. Start the Voyage first thing in your day, that way even if you can't attend to it at regular 2-hour intervals, you should still be able to get the whole thing done before you go to bed, then do a recall overnight. Lather, rinse, repeat. ;)

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

Words of wisdom, right there. While I have the policy of not spending dil on voyages, so that I can use them on packs, that is indeed the best option, and it gives you the most bang for your buck. You will come out of that voyage with a really hefty amount of loot, plus chronitons for days. What's not to like :)

Considering only the 3 most common skills (command, diplomacy and security), our Bot tells us that the longest any player can go without spending dil is about 9.5 hours. This is if they have all the best crew FF/FE.

You can try out some of GoT Bot's features on the public GoT Bot server found here: https://discord.gg/R8QzpjW but the Voyage command is restricted to GoT members only. We do have two openings though. ;)

I *think*...and let me be clear I don't remember because I've slept since then and I am not finding screenshots of it - I *think* I made it without refill to the 9.5hr mark, but had to recall immediately because I had 35 AM left. It was the absolute perfect storm of traits and skill distribution with 2950 total AM thanks to bonuses.

Also I sent out a voyage with lvl 1 barebones 1* crew - the worst I could get for each, and did it with the worst ship. Dead in 30 mins.

I've also sent out 15k Primary/Secondary Voyages - those suffer because the other 4 skills are like 3k. It doesn't last beyond 6 hours.

At this point I just have fun trying weird and different stuff.

But yeah - the Voyage completely falls apart and becomes pointless from the 72hr and beyond point as you will have played all available dilemmas, and the UI just craps out at that point. So the theoretical longest is 3 days with the final round of DIL refills running 700-800 per 2 hours.
