Price hike for those in the Uk - maybe Europe

In the past week I've noticed a price hike in offers if you buy in game. I am on android & switched from google play to samsung store because you save considerably more
What was £17.99 is now £20. I don't know if the same has happened on facebook as I do not have access to my laptop - maybe someone can fill me in on that
Why has this happened? Is it to do with the addition of the webstore? It will definitely stop me from buying offers that I would have in the past, particularly DYCs
You can't blame the rise in food & petrol on this one

This is likely due to exchange rate and platform fees/taxes.
...never mind.
It was a fixed price, I doubt the google play store price(which is the same as the webstore ) has changed because of exchange rate
You just paid less because of what currency you paid in to start with
If you could give more info on the specific item that would help. Thanks!
With screenshots if possible.
Monthly dilith & quantum pass £3.49
Quantum pass is €5,49 (£4,50) from day 1 on Steam and €5,76 (£4.72 ) on iOS for me, and all other prices are way higher than in US or UK
Country Tax has always been displayed on my amazon receipts. Can only speak for Germany though. I think they just asjusted prices because of the weak € compared to USD.
