Unfuse and Unequip Crew Members

I would like to see the ability to unfuse and unequip crew members. If you have a FFFE DaVinci and a 1* Lvl 9 DaVinci, instead of deleting the 1* for honor points, unequip the character and have all the items go back into your inventory, then you can sell the crew for honor points. I feel that we should be able to reclaim the equipment if we decide later that we want to scrap the character.

Disagree entirely on unequipping. Decisions need to have consequences or they are meaningless. Not to mention it would be abused.

As for unfusing, I don't see the point, other than unfusing a Duras sister or Tuvok/Neelix to avoid wasting when creating Sisters/Tuvix. But again, I'll say that decisions should have consequences.
  • @Dralix I understand your point. I still feel that there should be a way to get equipment back if you decide three months down the road that your 4* crew member is now obsolete due to a new release. Instead of airlocking all of them, why not get the equipment back, but for a cost. Pay either honor or dilithium to make it happen.

I agree with Dralix. Then people would tear crew down and build another with the same stuff before every event. Burning resources is part of the game, not transferring those resources from one crew to another

Well, it would presumably cost credits for building the items from those components, so I should think it wouldn't be like you could just unbuild one crew and use those to automatically equip some other crew. Yes, it would save massively on chronitons (and replicator rations/uses, probably), but it wouldn't be completely without cost.

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

  • Let's say you could purchase a Transporter Reintegration Module from the Honor store for 50,000 honor points. When you click on the module, it brings up your crew roster. You are able to choose 1 crew member to completely unequip (and presumably airlock for honor). That equipment now goes back into your inventory. You have spent a hefty amount to unequip, but I think it could definitely prove useful.

As stated, I have a hard time many players a of ever use a feature like that. The built equipment has very little value in comparison to 50k honor. Honestly, I think you would be better off pushing for increased rewards from airlock of leveled/equipped/fused characters.

Well, "fused" aside (since we already get compensated when spacing a crew member who has extra stars), this is a great suggestion. Ideally, airlocking a level 80 crew should offer more Honor than airlocking a level 1, totally unequipped crew.

I have thought this should be the case too. I’ve airlocked lvl 100’s before cuz I just used them for one thing then tossed them
