What items are you hoping can be farmed in episode 8? I'm Hoping 4* Databases :)

Hopefully we can update the thread for what traits/crew are needed to pass nodes for warping.

    Or, for Americans, that's 12/5/2017. For people who use the YMD order, that's 2017-12-05. And for anyone who doesn't even know what day it is half the time (like me), that's "tomorrow". :D

    Off-topic, but back in June 2017, Shan replied to this question on the Steam platform & said that Episode 8 was not available yet. At the time, this was the description there:

    “The Killing Syndrome

    With approval (or disapproval) from the Xindi, allowed the Dominion to be hunted to near-extinction, or ended the Hirogen hunt.”

    That’s all I got.

    ...I'm thinking that the item drops may focus on Dominion and Hirogen stuff, aka some of the most useless faction items in the game.

    I'm predicting some Hirogen ship schematic drops. Then upon completing the ep, you get either Colonel Karr or a new character, Turanj. Or maybe Jorik, who was the medic that assisted the Doctor?

    Considering the Achievement "The Killing Syndrome" the other option will most likely be a Dominion crew: Changeling Bashir, Dominion Dukat, Goran'Agar, Kilana, or Weyoun Clone 4...or a new one.
    Both, Dominion and Hirogen, could benefit from a new interesting crew, since both factions are somewhat underrepresented...

    This is awesome! Now my jump from lvl 59 to 60 wont take a month...i might be able to be done in less than 3 days! Also makes me glad i dont play galaxy events :grin: !! But what i dont get is why there was notice in the forums :neutral: very odd...

    Exactly. Hopefully the next event is straight up faction (or god forbid expedition) so some Ep 8 time would make some sense.

    Any idea on who the 4's are going to be for the decision point? (If there will be one)

    Ah, so now the Steam achievement makes purrfect sense! I'll surely let the Dominion win over those Hirogies! :) Please give us a 4* Dominion Dukat for Dominion victory, he never drops anywhere except the store! :(

    Guys come on. I'm just a normal player and I usually get to 130k VP in the first 24 hours. So what, I take a few chrons and do this new episode and finish a day later? With voyages it's doable, and it's worth it!

    I think it comes down to whether you're the type of player who just wants those 130k, or the type of player that wants to compete for a spot high up the leaderboards.

    Well obviously anyone who attempts to place within the top 1k or even 2k is going to have to spend some serious DIL anyway. So I don't think they care about spending a little more just to get the new episode "warpable."
