Apologies if this is a known issue but my last FBB run took place against the backdrop of ... the galaxy map, with the boss and my ship nowhere to be seen:
I could zoom and pan around the map while the battle went on. I'm pretty sure it happened because I brushed against the wrong button between hitting "Engage" and the battle actually starting. I'm used to this sort of thing when claiming shuttles but haven't seen it with FBB before.
