Star Trek Timelines Storyline

Granted, I haven’t played out Episode 8, but I get the impression that we will probably never solve the temporal crisis and send characters back to their respective “timeline.”

I’d be curious to know if this storyline encompasses the entirety of the game or if their is a post temporal crisis story in the works.

Well if we solved the temporal crisis, at least I wouldn't have to keep worrying about crew slots anymore. :p

The entire reason we can have all crew from all time periods is the Temporal crisis. If it were over and everyone went back, your ship would be empty. What I don’t understand is how I can have any Q besides human Q in my crew. Isn’t he more powerful and thus immune to a temporal crisis?

Q just likes trolling Starfleet captains by unexpectedly barging in and overstaying his welcome. You are no exception.

But he’s on my crew. Does what I tell him. Actually that’s not true. I have Captain Q and Hunan Q FF/FE and 2 stars on Judge Q but the only one I ever use is Human Q rarely on a Voyage when I need my A Team for shuttles. The other two just sit there cuz their stats are so weak. According to the game, Ardra can take Q one on one easily

See, that's where he's smart. He purposely gave himself lower stats so he can just sit there and *not* have to do what you tell him. :o

You just totally blew my mind. He IS in control

You know, this reminds me of the other thread, the one about Tuvix. Assuming we could fix the anomalies, would it be ok with everyone if we sent so many people back, particularly all the ones that would be destined to die as soon as they got there? Or the holograms now made sentient, pushed back into a cheesy story? Food for thought.

You mean like the Riker in the “Borg are everywhere!” Universe? “Im not going back there!!!!” Or the Tasha Yar episode where when she went back she knew the fight was a lost cause? Happened in season 3 of Enterprise too with Trip and T’Pols son but I’m sure that’s not as well known as the others

Good examples. I guess there's precedent for doing just that.

I think you’re on to something here. When the game finally does come to a close they should do a month long event where at the end everyone goes back home where they belong, Borg everywhere or not

When I first read the posts, THAT was exactly what I was thinking, so you get an awesome point from me :)

Q will simply sit on the sidelines and revel in the futile efforts of everyone involved (namely us) to plug up the damage, while getting a huge kick out of it. Hell, he may even participate as one of his other selves just for the fun of it. But then again, he deserves his low stats - let's face it, he never did much as Captain Q (apart from pestering everyone) or as Human Q (apart from whining and giving half answers that could barely be put to any use).

So when Q's grown bored of our wholy futile efforts, he will just have one big Q Super-duper-hyper-wiper-mega-giga-event and will fix everything up - and that will be the end of the game.

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.
