Skirmish first, then galaxy. Terrible order. Has no one learned anything? We're going to miss community rewards again. And if you don't have time to dedicate hours during the work week to playing a skirmish, you might as well give up. You're not going to rank.
Question: when it says "Picard trait", does it mean all Picards, all characters on Star Trek: Picard, or both?
The sentence structure is the same as usual, so it is safe to assume it means crew from the Picard series. Could it also mean all Jean-Luc variants? Maybe, but I suspect it only refers to crew with the hidden "pic" trait. Assuming there is no official answer before the event, test it by picking a random TNG Picard card for a skirmish seat and see if the bonus banner shows up.

Hey! as @Ishmael Marx pointed out, this specifically applies to crew members who have the hidden "pic" trait.

@STT Community so you're not adding a collection to help us out like you did for Disco and Enterprise when you last did their hidden traits as bonus crew?

Disco and Enterprise collections were for Mega events. For a single skirmish/galaxy we only need one bonus crew for the first half, and a small handful for the second half.
Also my clock also shows the event starting early.
Hey, I'll double-check the timeline. Regarding the new collection, @Mirror Cartman is correct. We only release this type of collection for mega events.
If memory serves, typically the phrasing used in the announcement is only used for visible-in-game traits like "Maverick" or "Romantic". Something like "Crew from Star Trek: Picard" would have avoided ambiguity.
On another matter entirely, having gone to some trouble to win and now immortalise Battle Bev, I would very much like to actually use Battle Bev's Battle Ability in the Skirmish phase, rather than just have her be a seat warmer while Ardra, Killy, etc. get on with business.
As far as I can tell my best bet is Warship Voyager (which I have at level 8) because it has Boarding that kicks in at 6s which lines up with Bev's timing. But am I missing any other possibilities?

We got a collection yesterday!
Search "pic" whole word only in datacore.app for the list of crew
See the yellow bar. There is something with how the game handles skirmish events that it doesn't have the bonus crew in the json properly. Datacore makes a guess, but until the event switches to phase 2 the game doesn't give the correct bonus data.
Hopefully this is just a DC issue and not an actual bug in the event.

It’s interesting that the other event crew show the correct bonus. As you say, hopefully this is only a Datacore issue.
For some reason, the ranked reward 5* is listed as a featured crew in the event in the json. I initially thought the json was wrong, but I went back and looked at old events and it's the same way. If you add Handler Worf as Prospective Crew in Datacore's event secction to Pecking Order, he'll show as a 10x bonus for the galaxy phase.
For those pointing out the Datacore issue: I don't think that's an in-game issue but something Datacore is doing or showing incorrectly. I've been noticing this with Galaxy events for quite some time (meaning months) and there's been no issue in-game.

I run the DNA spreadsheet and have it all in there too.... I was really just hoping for the collection as it makes it all easier having it in game where it should be.

Once I've got all the threshold rewards in a skirmish I have a reason to carry on playing it, because I can still get chrons out of it, which I can use to work on my crew and get more intel, to play more skirmish, and so on. I have absolutely no reason to do the galaxy when it comes second. I tried once and I ended up putting a lot of work in just to slip out of the top 1500 towards the end, not wasting my time on that any time soon.

Is that just a placeholder on the right?
Weren’t you bemoaning it on the substandard artwork thread which was removed?

The first half is a skirmish, just stick Tallinn or Vadic on your ship and call it a day.

Team has already spotted this and it's working on resolving it. Thank for bringing it to our attention!

Is this going to be a problem? Should be 10x

Maybe because it's such a large collection?
