To make sure this issue gets more visibility and traction:
After a several month absence, Tuesday Packs recently returned - and some with a new format - a mixed behold with a new crew. Instead of a standard 6-pack (3 gold, 3 purple), there is now a pack with 20, 30 or 50 crew, and one of those are brand new. Let's put a pin in this.
For 24 hours, Elusive Treasures have been for sale for both Dilithium in game, or real-world money via in game or the web store.
For 24 hours, Elusive Treasures have shown, in the artwork in game and via the web store, pictures of 2 previous unreleased crew: Admiral Pike and Farragut Kirk:
For 24 hours, Elusive Treasures have shown, in the info tooltip of the pack, what crew were included, which has both Admiral Pike and Farragut Kirk.
In the last 24 hours, WRG have sent in-game messages, posted to the forums and social media - an advertisement for Elusive Treasures including the list of crew you can obtain, which has Admiral Pike and Farragut Kirk.
Admiral Pike and Farragut Kirk are *NOT* in game. They are not in the vault. They are not in crew portraits. They were both slated to release sometime in the last 5 months, but delayed/pulled for various reasons. You may remember a recent event with last second art approval issues that caused delays and a last second reward swap? That was supposed to be Admiral Pike.
So, for players who chase all the crew, for players who are used to the new pack structure of lots of old crew with 1 new one mixed in - and for players that saw pictures of two new crew along with confirmation in multiple forms from WRG that the crew were for sale, buyer beware - they are not.
No one has pulled those crew. They are not in the loot tables.
Please fix this.

Was the issue NOT "looked into and fixed" when it happened the last time?!?!?
No offense. But an "accident" that keeps happening, especially when money is changing hands, has pretty poor optics. Wasn't the last Elusive Treasures Pack or the one before that that had the same issue? Crew in the artwork that was not in the Pack?
How do the artists making the splash screen keep accidentally drawing Crew that are not in the Pack?
I'm game. I never say no to new crew.
That actually works much better than the PicardGate fiasco. Sending everyone an extra copy after most had used a Cite or DYC to Immo him!!! No one should have these two done......
What’s the fix besides removing Pike and Kirk from the available crew listed for the pack on Friday after they were listed at 12PM Eastern on Wednesday?
Well, the optimum "fix" would be to make sure it never happens again. Since it happened before, IIRC.
I'm still not even sure how an artist "accidentally" draws TWO characters that are not even in the game, on the splash screen......
Simple. They didn't draw them. They collaged all the crew created in a given period. Kirk's a purple. Pike's a gold. They were likely part of that event that got scratched, where we had back to back repeats. They just didn't get released when they were supposed to and got lumped into the files that were tiled together to make the pack splash. Easy to do really.

I just wanted those two, as they, aside from the two voyage golds, are the only unowned/non immortalized crew in the game for me, so naturally I'd start buying. I was going to just ask for my DIL back, but this is lightyears of a better deal.
