The highlighted area for the requred equipment, what exactly does that mean?

I'm guessing that this mission cost 8 chrons and it takes about 11 chrons for 1 item?

    I'm guessing it is datacore and not big book thing, since it does not appair on the big book site.

    Running that mission will cost 8 chronitons per try but, on average, it'll cost 11 to get one Pattern Enhancer.
