locked out of missions

trying to level up crew this evening - it's showing that I haven't completed the episode 1 missions - I completed those 7 years ago, lol I'll repeat what I posted the other day: this is ridiculous. do you have 2nd graders doing code for you there? I'm locked out of Warp 10 for the most basic missions in the game. Forced to spend chrons on more expensive mission nodes.
Hurry up before those things eat Guy!

The only way to get parametric scanners now is by replicating, because of this bug.
I reported this in engineering at the beginning.
On my 3rd account, I am trying to level Compromised Kamran Gant . I am low on credits , and will not use replicator rations on something normally easy to obtain.
So I am stuck at level 60, until I can get parametric scanners. Event starts tomorrow.
  • Yeah, it is still broke for me too. I thought they were suppose to fix that this morning...... must have run into another problem.

😩😩 so much stuff is broken. Ive rcvd the 2nd redo comp accolade pack (timing reference) and my galaxy map still has locked missions within episodes even though these were completed and warp-able long ago.
My CM section does not have the mission display. Not that I currently care about CM. I would like the game to simply work as it did pre-v10 update. As far as I can tell the only thing working as it was are BB. Even shuttle returns have reverted to very
CS tickets are getting nowhere. There are so many glitches they are not understanding even with screenshots. They overloaded and not thoroughly reading and viewing tickets. Just base line reply. Its impossible to know if these things should be fixed by now or not?

Same here, I just want to be able to warp the old missions THAT I'VE ALREADY COMPLETED!

Yeah unless a CS rep plays the game, they will mix up the problem and probably say you need to finish it with higher level crew not knowing you can't event start to do it. I would be fine if I just had to manually re do them so I can warp em. Send them a video or a gif if possible

Same for Desktop Computers, they drop from one mission only, which is blocked.
  • That in-game message that said "thank you for your patience" reminded me that people always say "thank you for your patience" when you're subject to a delay you had no choice in, so patience doesn't really come into it.

    🤣🤣So true 😆😆
  • Greetings Captains, we are currently working on fixing all of these issues. Thank you for reporting the issues and sorry for the inconvenience.
  • So at what point will this be fixed so that I can recomplete the normal away team missions? There's plenty of equipment farming that I could be doing now, but can't.

And don't thank me for my patience. That ran out long ago.
  • @WRG Ben any news on the 8 away missions being able to be completed clicking on travel but no joy, way over the 2hrs communication from yesterday

For me the continuum missions have now replaced the missions on the normal map. Including logo and requirements. Have not yet run one to see, if they require chroniton containers and/or give continuum rewards. This feature release is FUBAR.

Ps….the number (amount) of still locked or re-do normal galaxy away missions is different per account. Many players have up to 12 affected missions. As of 11-3, all tickets sent to CS explaining continuing issues are getting a general standard reply. There has been no communication acknowledging there is still an issue for many, or how to further unlock these missions after the “fix” was deployed and did not work.

There is a weekend right up ahead or has already started. Shall we wait for the fix till monday?

Some want to pre-farm items, others want to level crew and need items, which drop only from missions, that are blocked.
Do we have to waste rations to replicate that items, only because you can't get that messed up update rolled back?
  • Hello there again. Now I'm not locked anymore for this missions. I've re-done them and all is good now. But up to this point I missed Updates on how far the fixing process is and how long it will take. That is bad communication of the support. After the las Update ther was nothing from the Support team. That must getting better, otherwise many players will be p..... and perhaps quit the game.
  • Greetings Captains, currently support and devs are fixing live issue and solving tickets from all the player base. Whenever we have more updates we will post in startfleet comms. We are currently working on a Compensation plan at the moment. Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience LLAP
  • Yeah, I'm still locked out of missions that I completed years ago, and the whole continuum missions feature is still buggy, not to mention that the rewards are not worth the investment. How do you justify a reward of a 250 dilithium on epic mode when you have to spend 100+ each time you want to bump the tube timers - which then need more chronotons? Unless I'm missing something, playing these missions will usually end up with a net loss of resources.

If I were to offer one piece of advice, from one long-time developer to another, is this: It has been my experience that a customer will usually accept a project that is late but functional much more readily than one that is rushed to meet the deadline but full of bugs. Every customer wants it all on time, in budget and 100% operational, but if you have to sacrifice something, being late on a completed project is the easiest to accept.

    Just my thoughts.
  • Been a couple days since the last post on this thread, having the same issue for a bit and curious to see if you need to re-do the missions that are again incomplete after having been completed a long time ago or the status will go back to "complete" with a fix when released? Thanks
  • During the current event, I encountered situations where the item I needed was not available because the mission had zero stars. I warped to that mission, started at normal, and replayed all 3 levels of the mission to get all the nodes completed. Fortunately, I had plenty of immortalized 5* that made short work of them. So far, reworked about 10 mission sets - there may be more.

I had thought that maybe the new continuum missions and the old missions were entangled somehow, but finishing the old missions had no impact on the new ones.

On the plus side, I did pick up some dilithium and other goodies for my efforts, so it wasn't all bad. So, yes, I think you'll need to replay those missions. You can't get to them from the main mission screen, but if you go to upgrade a crew and have to build an item, check the missions for that build - if you see one with no stars, click on it, then travel to it - and you'll have the chance to fix history.
