I am sure I am not the only person to have ever commented on this but can't they be moved to the top corner or at least confined to the Captains level for the new people who may need them. I mean, if you haven't figured out by the time you reach the Admirals level to just staff your ship the same as everyone else is doing (because they have already spent hours working out who the best guys are, then you are pretty much lost anyways)

The thing is these popup often cover your control panel and cause you to lose your battle which is # appropriate expletive# annoying.
