Appreciation for the John De Lancie Stream -- and thoughts about the Roadmap

I wanted to thank Ben for organizing this and John De Lancie for taking part and sharing these anecdotes. Always good to hear from him! :)

I was particularly entertained by the story of working with his son on Voyager. Hadn't thought of that.

So: big thanks again for putting this together.

That said - I can't avoid to notice that the announcement promised us the Roadmap for 2024 and that Ben at most mentioned Convergence Day Month happening soon.

Not a biggie - I understand that many questions were asked to John De Lancie and I appreciate that this wonderful actor was given center stage. Yet I can't help but to think that it would be nice to have a Livestream in the next few weeks discussing a more full Roadmap with upcoming content and features!

Pretty please? :)

Thank you to John De Lancie for doing the Livestream!

Those who missed it, he just got home from a trip overseas and was very sick. But, he still did the Livestream!

Ah! Good to know they already confirmed it.

I'm really impressed too! He did all of it and was very charming despite sounding really quite sick.

Ditto. He was obviously ill, and still took the time to show up and seemed to genuinely enjoy the topics and answering questions. I appreciated his time, and willingness to be in a good mood and engaging even though he was not feeling 100%.
  • He is the same way at cons - animated, nice, and eager to engage with the fans. Seems like a great guy. It's nice to see that the actor behind a beloved character appears to be who you hope they are.
