Was really looking forward to the new ship

What went wrong?!
Why is is it so shiny? From the top it looks translucent!


I watched Yesterday's Enterprise today & it certainly didn't appear like that! Why not the BD version?



Even better would have been the Concept design for the ship

It does sometime change to not being shiny but I can’t concretely figure out when/why. I posted about it in the engineering section also. It really is poorly done. The biggest offense after the metallic finish is the registry font. Not to mention windows where there shouldn’t be windows on the rim of the ventral saucer. The green phasers it fires is another mistake. They really need to go back to Utopia Planitia on this one.
