What happens when you fuse 3/4 Level 1 with 1/4 Level 99?

Hey all! I don't know if anyone else has been dumb enough to do this, but I accidentally immortalized my Lursa before fusing it with a 1 star B'Etor. I now have three 1/4-star Duras Sisters, but I'm not sure what happens if I fuse them into a 3/4-star at level 1 and then attempt to fuse it with a 1/4-star at level 99?

Has anyone ever tried something like this? Any help would be much appreciated!

If I am understanding you correctly, you already have a 3/4* Duras Sisters at Level 1, and you are proposing to now do the following:

    - level up a new 3/3* Lursa or B'Etor to Level 99, and then fuse that character to a 1/3* of the opposite sister, to make a new 1/4* Duras Sisters at Level 99
    - fuse your existing 3/4* Level 1 Duras Sisters to the new 1/4* Level 99 Duras Sisters, in the hopes that the combination of these will result in a 4/4* Level 99 Duras Sisters

Your concern is that in the final fusion the result might end up being only Level 1, since that is the level of the 3/4* Duras Sisters, and that their level would take precedence over the 1/4* Duras Sisters at Level 99.

I honestly am not sure how this would turn out, but if no one else has more definitive feedback to provide you, I would still suggest giving it a try.

Almost certain you will end up with a 4/4 at 99, but haven't tried that specific scenario.

That is absolutely correct, Irial. Thank you for putting it in a much more cogent manner than I did in my original post.

Yes, my concern is that the level of the 3/4* Level 1 Duras Sisters would take precedence over the 1/4* Level 99 Duras Sisters.

I am hoping it will result in the 4/4* Level 99 Duras Sisters, but I thought I would ask before spending my time and resources attempting it.

Whatever happens, I'll be sure to post the result in this thread. Which might be a while since I only have a single 1/3* Lursa at the moment after I fused the rest of them earlier this morning.

For my sake, I certainly hope so! Let's find out!

I did something similar with both tuvix and duras sisters.

The final star I merged in was the one that I had leveled to 99fe. The 3/4 versions were between level 10 and 30. In both cases I wound up with a 4/4 level 99fe ready to get its last few trainers to immortalize.

Just to be safe you might want to do the upgrade from the 1/4 99fe card, but it should work both ways.

I'm pretty sure that with any fusion, the result is the higher level of the two.

Yes, no need to worry here. If you want to be safe, screenshot it before and after fusing, then if it doesn't work properly, send in a ticket. Because that's how fusing is supposed to work, always — it takes the highest level of the two crew, and makes that the new level of the fused crew.

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

Thanks, everyone! I appreciate the feedback!

And...whew! I thought I had messed things up royally! Good to know that I won't have to level up the Duras Sisters to Level 99!
  • it is funny, I don't know how many times I have read that fusion will take the higher level of the two crew. And also have herd from other players how it indeed works as stated. Yet when I furze I still select the crew with the highest level and add lower level to it. Habit I guess.

You'll get a level 99 4/4 Duras Sisters doing what Irial suggests.

It's good to be careful. I once had a level 50 2* and got four more copies from an event. I wasn't watching what I was fusing and ended up with a FF level 1 character. CS did fix it for me, though.
  • And once you have a1/4* level 99 Duras Sisters or Tuvix, you may level them up to 100.
The level 99 restriction only applies to the 3*-"ingredients".

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! I just wanted to do a quick update and let you know that fusing a 99 1/4 Duras Sisters to the 1 3/4 Duras Sisters did result in a 99 4/4 Duras Sisters. Whew!
  • Ok I'm old and need pictures....how do I get 3 more Duras Sisters at this pointj4aone8uvbne.png

    1. Stop equipping (and levelling) your lvl 30 4* The Duras Sisters.

    2. Wait for more Lursas and B'Etors to drop from portal pulls. Do not fuse yet!

    3. Fuse, level and equip the first one you get three copies of to 99 (NOT 100!!!) ...

    4. At 99 and with all 4 items equipped fuse with a 1/3 (lvl 1) of the other sister.

    5. Level the resulting 4* Duras Sister to 100.

    6. Fuse the two copies of 4* Duras Sisters ... you'll have a lvl 100 2/4 The Duras Sisters.

    7. For your next two copies they only need to be lvl 1, so do not bother levelling anyone anymore.

Caveat: Each 3* Duras sister is not the easiest to level and equip ... so, depending on which sister you level to 100 it might actually be more beneficial NOT to equip all 4 of her last items, they might be more difficult to build than the items the 4* version has at those levels! Check the wiki and crew cost pages for the sister you level compared to the 4* version.

e.g. B'Etor needs a 5* item at lvl 99, this is more difficult to craft than The Duras Sisters lvl 99 item! If you leave it open on B'Etor it will be open on the 4* version too (after fusing B'Etor and Lursa), and then you just craft that.
  • No pictures then..... Ha Ha Ha😂🤣😂

    Well that wont fuse
    ???
First you need to fuse another 4* from 3/3 and 1/3. Then fuse with already existing 4*.

Or exactly what do you mean besides Duras Sisters not being able to be fused with Lursa?
  • I thought I had read somewhere that once you have the Sisters to lvl 99 they can be fused to any FF3* Lursa or B'etor. Not so....

It was most likely said that you don't need lv99 to fuse additional stars, any lv1 will do. But you still need Lursa and B'Etor to fuse lv1 Duras Sisters to then fuse with 99 or 100 Duras Sisters.
