Twin Mistresses of Evil: hologram

Why remove the two Traits listed? Especially "Hologram" from literal holographic characters.

Also, not sure what the alphabetization scheme is, but still do not see 🙈 Prisoner Cornwell, who literally used her medical specialty while a prisoner, listed as getting the "Physician" Trait.....

Because they are the Delaney sisters playing the twin mistresses. They are no more hologram than Captain Proton Paris, Buster Kincaid Kim, or Arachnia Janeway.

But Twin Mistresses of Evil should have Costumed like those other 3 crew to reflect that they are real people dressed up as fictional characters.

Thanx. That makes sense. Moreso if they get the Costumed Trait at the same time.

Maybe you could add to the variants of Number One the traits Illyrian and engineered.

Cornwell is not a physician, she is a counselor. That's her medical specialty.

She IS a doctor. It's clearly established in dialogue she is.

Once these are updated, will existing constellations have the chance to pull these polestars as well?

I believe that's automatic. The constellation is based on the crew, so it always has all of the polestars relevant to that crew.

No. It is CLEARLY established in dialog she is a DOCTOR doctor.

When Cornwell asks Lorca why he never had his eyes "fixed"
thinking it was from an injury in battle rather than because he is from the Mirror Universe
he replies "I don't trust doctors." She says "I'll try not to take offense."

Clearly from the context, he is referring to MEDICAL doctors. You know, Physicians.

A Geologist with a PhD would not be offended. A theoretical physicist with a PhD not be offended.

A MEDICAL doctor {PHYSICIAN} would be the kind of doctor to be offended.......

But a doctor and a physician are not synonymous. A physician, a psychologist, a dentist, an anaesthetist and a forensic medical examiner are all medical doctors. This is why they changed the name of the trait in-game, because "doctor" isn't specific enough. It's a title that belongs to a lot of different professions.

Nobody is debating whether or not Cornwell is a doctor. She is not a physician.

I provided proof straight from the show that she is a medical doctor/physician. Neither of us is going to change our opinion. And I really don't want to drag it into a huge thing. Not with someone I enjoy interacting with.

    Agree to disagree?

  • Thanks for putting this list together. Any idea on a release date for these updates?
  • Navigator Stamets is also missing Starfleet as well as Federation, and Away Team Detmer also needs the Displaced trait (I also echo that all the Una/Number One cards need Illyrian & Engineered). But apart from that the proposed changes seem pretty accurate, though I feel that Graduation Amanda should keep the Vulcan trait, in keeping with Graduation Burnham and Miranda Jones both having the Vulcan trait despite being Human.

I also echo that all the Una/Number One cards need Illyrian & Engineered

I don't think I'd do that for her earlier cards, for example whichever one it is that pictures her singing in the turbolift from that Short Treks episode. At that point in the story line she was hiding being Illyrian and passing as human, so if we're staying true to the source material it would make more sense for her to have the human trait instead.

Not instead. As well. Any undercover character has their true species as well as the one that they're impersonating. Every version of Number One should have Illyrian and Engineered, most of them should have Human as well.

For comparison, Lt Ash Tyler and Celebratory Ash Tyler both have the Klingon and Human trait even though they're from when he was disguised as a human before it was revealed he was Klingon.

I think Desperate is inconsistent amongst Vidiians. I think they should all have it, but only Danara Pel and Motura do. You are proposing to add it to Sulan which would then leave Dereth the only one without it. I think he was Desperate.
  • DAEDAE ✭✭✭✭
That is quite a long list. Thank you for sharing.
I see Kal-if-fee spock is getting the “primal” trait. By the same token shouldn't Duelist Torres?
Kodrak was not a shapeshifter. This disguised, costumed, undercover mission occurred while Odo was a solid.
  • Greetings Captains! For these asking, we aim to do Traits Updates every couple of months if possible. The team is developing some new in game features that we believe you'll definitely enjoy! LLAP and I'm writing all of these down!

It would also be nice if you could use an alpha order for traits.
    1st section would be race
    2nd section would be organization
3rd section would be other traits
all section would have multiple traits organized in alphabetical order

Some chars seem to have this alpha order but in others this is completely mixed, Dark Ages Mccoy shows as Starfleet,Civilian,Human instead of having Human first

Bridge Picard is missing "Android". He is post season one of Picard.

How about a review of traits for ships? For instance, how is this not a freighter? It is a cargo vessel. adt7m1jbw2un.png
Fleet Admiral - Dazed & Confused 🤸🤸🙃 We are still waiting for Enterprise B, the Delta Flyer, and a Runabout! We should also have a TNG season 1 red shirt LT JG Worf, and a "Far Beyond The Stars" DS9 episode crew collection!
