New Permanent Pack! - Legends Pack discussion
I'm glad to see new packs, but I've said this before when they were first revealed... these legends packs should really replace the premium packs we can buy in the portal, at the same 650 Dil price point. We can still keep same premium packs for all of the giveaways and collection rewards, they are fine free prizes, they are just not worth spending money on at all in the current state of the game with well over 1000 cards floating around..
The premium packs lose almost all of their value after you've played game for a year or so, since the pool of super-rare cards are so small and the chances you will pull a dupe are extremely high after awhile, and even if you get a legendary, a 1/5 of an older legendary is useless and just going to clog your crew space until the end of time. Most of the time you're just trading 650 dilithium for 700-1000 honor, which is also a really unfavorable conversion rate since that's not even 1/40th of a begold.
Even the legends packs aren't a great value since the chances of getting 2 duplicate super rare is extremely high, we're really just paying for the chance of getting what will probably be a legendary that was obsolete 7 years ago. But at least that's some kind of progress for most of us who spend on packs. So... just make these Legends packs the new premium pack please

As mentioned above, a 50/50 chance to add a useful 5* and a 99% chance to add a couple hundred extra honor isn’t worth more than double the standard premium pack.
If I could improve upon the pack, I would incorporate citations in some way. Could be where the behold gives a choice of two and the third option being a citation. Or maybe during the pull, if the three choices are all maxed for the player, then an option appears to choose a citation instead.
Regardless, these are pulls from dilithium,
Each token costs 2000 dilithium and allows the user to instantly retrieve any crew they want.
Citations should also be permanently available at 1500 dilithium.
Agree that the 650 dilithium “premium packs” should be 390 dilithium.
The new packs should be no more than 1,000 dilithium.
Every player should be given 10,000 dilithium to try out the above.
Every year on convergence day, all players get 1 dilithium for every 10 vip POINTS that they have, not vip level, POINTS. For reference, i have 325,000 vip points. I would get 32,500 dilithium. And i would burn through it rapidly.
Every star trek day, wrg ben provides a public apology for banning players during “button gate”, (during crew retrieval release) we know it was your decision.
Do all of that, and i will consider resuming the practice of recruiting new people to play this game. Dont do any of it, and i guess we can see how long this game lasts with a development team that refuses to develop anything.
If your a new player this is a fabulous resource none of us ever had.
We had asked for a fourth option of citation a long time ago. Its a mute point. They will never give us a cite.
Even a SR cite in place of a legendary airlock would be acceptable.
We asked for a re-roll if all are immortalized
We made suggestions of how to add other currencies in the case of 3 immortalized cards. Such as…
1/3 the credits and quantum cost for a retrieval IE, 3 airlocked legendaries would be equivalent of one retrieval.
Substantially Increase the honor for legendary airlocks when all 3 are immortalized.
Add a fourth option to all beholds with any of the above,
Add a fourth option to beholds with a revolving chance of all of the above.
I also feel like 1500 dilithium is alot for a regularly occurring pack.
Especially when its mostly honor to me. The majority of unowned cards in my roster are not in portal thats ok if others who can benefit do, and find the cost reasonable.

Are they going to change the 10 packs in the premium campaign to the legend pack? Most players do not benefit from the packs included in the campaign. That is a cash purchase, the campaign should offer the highest quality pack.
I agree, that for most players, simply converting the premium pack to what is now the legends pack for the same price of 650 dilithium would have been much better received.
I think the price is fine. It's similar pricing to the mixed beholds except the 3 guarantees are nice. Obviously they well quickly devalue Premium pulls, so eventually some adjustments will need to be made.
How to improve: Add the ability to get them free via gameplay. This can be during OEs or add another Threshold to events(400k maybe).
but have zero value to advanced players. It is much better value & cheaper to just spend the dilith speeding up the quantum on a character you want rather than one you may not want or a frozen behold & two airlocked purps
Maybe you can reach them via a subspace transmission.

For veteran players who spend money, this is a deterrent to spending. Had this been the original offer of $24.99 us (20 or 25 premium and no legendary packs) with a limit of 2, I would buy 2. These are usually the only offers I get, every time they are available.
Im not interested in the legendary packs at the current dilithium or cash price, and im not interested in this offer at the increased price with the legend packs included.
Please do not increase the original offers by adding the legendary packs.
This event, you lost my purchase on this pack. Both original and new should be offered. Also, that is how you can really tell which one makes more money. Offering both together a few times.
During the @polo and @STT Community Q&A stream 7/12 it was stated that the feedback for legends packs was great and prompted the permanent portal addition. In this thread, I dont see enough positive feedback to generate changing the original pack offers to include the legends. They should be separate.
Again I also suggest including the legends in some way to the campaign track.
