Three and a half hours into the event. The top player has more than 67k VP. How?

    I've only gotten three Encounters after 3.5 hours. It went 30 minutes, 1.5 hours, 3.5 hours. If the space between doubles every time, not going to be many Encounters on a Voyage. Going to be hard to get Rewards in an actual Event.....

    It's not been completely spelled out, and they said on the stream that the numbers could change between today's beta and when it goes live.

    That being said, contributing factors I'm aware of are:
    • Featured crew are a significant source. If you didn't include Horseback Picard etc on the voyage it would likely make sense to recall now (which is instant) and restart with all four of them.
    • Succeeding an encounter provides a VP multiplier which scales each time, so longer voyages will score higher.
    • There are passive VP drops that reward as you go similar to how normal voyages get low rarity crew/chrons/honor/etc. The size of the drop is affected by the other factors listed above.

    It's also likely that the current leaders have used the boosters that drop as threshold rewards to fast forward a bit.
