I just finished the event. I never got the Artifact to appear once.

I'll finish the artifact in a couple days with arena awards. But it shows how aggravating and unreliable it is to gate everything behind random drops.

It's most likely confirmation bias, but it sure seems like I started getting a lot more Arty Scheme drops after I finished it. Something like a selector Token might be a good reward for Events like this. Like a 5 ⭐ Token lets you select a certain amount of Schemes for any 5 ⭐ in the Portal.

That would probably encourage more engagement, if people felt like they were involved more actively in having a choice. And that choice could be something they need. If I am explaining right.

I was *really* hoping for Jem'hadar Flagship schematics, I'm only 450 short of finally completing it and we're obviously never going to get it from the arena. Didn't get any. Really frustrating, we need a better way to get ships.

Its not confirmation bias.

There are so many examples that could be pointed to about this game that the devs and the self appointed dev security team will just say “random is random” but the truth is, if you have a background in numbers, its easily demonstrable how royally tilted this games “odds” for random drops are.

I decided to do the FBB part of the mini event, because I was getting almost always schematics for ship I had not finished. There was something going on. But, I was not looking for a specific drop. I do not think i finished any ship. However, I hold on to all schematics for ship I have not completed. So, getting those non completed ships a little further , I appreciate.

I like the concept. It was a fine event. There is a bug with the final reward, but when are there not bugs?

I didn't get any Artifact schematics, but between 4 and 5 star ships, there are a LOT to possibly get. Even with all my maxxed ships, I didn't have any pulls that at least one choice couldn't be used.

"Sloppy QA" implies that there actually was some QA. I'm far from convinced that that's the case.

I'm sure they tested their shiny new features. But they probably never tried any existing feature to see that broke.
