Amazon kindle no update

I’ve used my Amazon kindle to access the game at times, and it’s telling me that there’s a newer version for download, (this has happened many times & I just update it) but there is no update now. When I click on update, it just says “open” now, and goes back to the update page. I rebooted my device but no luck.
Is the update still coming or will it no longer be available on this platform?
