Or whatever the thing is called.
Would the devs like me to be able to play the game at work and maybe spend some money?
Asking for my coworkers.
Because when I know those are going to pop I straight up can’t.
Just saying.

EDIT: THE "i" is top right in some ads.
In my humble opinion, if the ads displayed in the game are of a maturity content that does not abide by the esrb rating of “Teen” that is assigned to star trek timelines, then maybe wrg and tp are liable for some serious penalties?
A quick google search of the subject came up with the following:
“ The penalty for violating ESRB ratings with mature content can include monetary fines (up to $1 million), corrective actions like recalling the product or pulling advertising, and other sanctions imposed by the ESRB; essentially, the primary enforcement mechanism is through the industry self-regulating body, with the ability to take significant actions against publishers who do not comply with rating guidelines.”
I don't know if any of the ads are pre-screened by the company. The third party ad server probably puts the ads in independently. So, they would be the ones violating the rule. If that is the case.
I can see your point. It probably comes down to whatever is spelled out in the contract between tilting point and the third party.
Either way, i think that the practice of relying upon “reports” from game players for age inappropriate material is just bad business and to me really seems like they are asking for trouble.
The problem is you’re all going off this one person’s view of what’s inappropriate. I looked up the game because I have not come across this ad. It’s a game based on a K-Pop reality Tv show in Japan. I don’t see anything that would violate a “Teen” rating. The ads are probably already filtered for this. We just have one player who was offened. That’s not how ratings work.
It's the "design their attire" part where a lot of the "games" of this type bother people. Some of the ads even suggest very strongly that actual game play features actual nudity, whether the game itself does or not. That one mafia animals game, Zoo City, has an ad where a female character has a LOT of rather large weapons hidden in a place most women would not want to hide a RPG.....
