Next week's OE, is there one?

ChaosChildChaosChild ✭✭✭✭✭
@STT Community There is still no OE showing in the event hub for next week. Are we getting one? Is there another event happening in its place instead? Has there been an announcement to this effect elsewhere that I've missed, or are the players being left in the dark again?

Where is this mentioned? It's not in the event hub. There's nothing in Starfleet Communications and no in-game message. Where are you getting this information?

Still not showing in the Event hub, and starts tomorrow night?!?!?

Be nice to know if we have to do things like tank Arena or save returned Shuttles.

Exactly. It's apparently a new event type, but we have no way of knowing how to prepare for it. Typical WRG communication, make things as difficult as possible for the players.

@STT Community If you're still out there, you need to do better.
  • You expect them to answer on either Saturday or Sunday?

Well, rightly or wrongly, people probably expect consistency. Mid-Week OEs usually appear in the Event Hub the Wednesday before.

I bet Jess Bush also expects no objectifying, misogynistic comments, but here we have you calling her “Baby Doll” like a real creep.
  • Can‘t see an announcement for the next campaign either.

My sole remaining goal on these forums is not to let people forget about how creepy DScott is.

No, I don't expect them to answer at all, ever. I'm well aware of how deeply substandard their customer service is. It would have been nice if they'd answered when I originally posted on Friday but once again, I wasn't really expecting a reply then either.

It would have been even nicer if they'd done their job properly and added the event to the event hub when they were supposed to.

But we live in hope. I hope that one day, @STT Community will surprise us all by doing their job. You, apparently, hope for another chance to be snarky at someone on the internet (which I can respect). I know which one of us is more likely to have their hopes fulfilled.

Actually, customer service (Zendesk) does a good job, in my opinion. The studio itself, however, has long had a mixed record on communication issues, and it seems to be declining more rapidly by the week.

The devs should get their fingers out the gaschamber and do a much needed thing.

    Communicate.

Doing so in a period and then going radio silent is even worse than no communication at all

I think people know Scott and I have our own issues, but as far as those comments are concerned; they were months ago, he apologised for them, and he hasn't repeated them at all since he was called on it. That shows character growth, or at least the illusion of it which is all we can hope for online.

The only person keeping those comments alive is you, so I think it's fairly clear to everybody who the creepy one is. Here's a hint, he's the one trying to hide behind an anonymous guest account, but stupid enough that he doesn't realise that's his DBID in the username.

Our big difference of opinion is whether or not someone should have a Trait they don't.

You're still a favorite fellow player for me.

BTW, today was President's Day. Offices were probably closed.

EDIT: No sign of tonight's OE. But next week is "Advance Your Crew".

So, the answer to my original question is apparently "no, there isn't"?
