Anyone else have this glitch?!?!? {Security Skill issue}

I was able to clear the security nodes on Epic - I have Valeo Beta V La’an fully equipped at 3375 (601-1060).

I find it more useful to use the minimum roll instead of the maximum roll when prioritizing which crew to unlock Quipment slots for. I prefer to optimize the highest guaranteed value (base + minimum roll) for determining my Continuum crew, though crew with a high maximum roll are still good if you ever assign Quipment strictly for voyage purposes.

I use Mok'bara Worf for SEC nodes in Continuum missions since he surpasses 4,200 (before boosts) as a guaranteed roll with his 4 best Quipment.

Athlete and prisoner, Gladiator McCoy, is another crew with the ability to quip four legendary Security quipment This makes his security fairly high with quipment.



Did not need the standard legendary quipment. I used one 4 star instead.
If I could fully equip him with all four legendary quipment. He would have in Security Base of 3795 and Proficiency of (800-1333) adding the base and min 4595, for me with my buffs. If I had Mok'bara Worf immortalized, he would be higher than 4595.

Just remember too, if you have an immortalized crew that has both traits. You can lower the level you will need to roll. One of the security nodes this time was saboteur and cardassian , Saboteur Garak.

Several people seem to be missing the point. Both T'Pol and the Gorn are way lower on their security than they were YESTERDAY. Worf was over 2000 without Equipment, but did not drop as much.

I expect consistency. Before his Stats unexpectedly dropped, he WAS clearing the Nodes.

Are you sure you were looking at base stats? To get Worf's security above 2000, you need your security core skill buff to be at least 49% (out of a maximum of 51%). While possible, that is a fairly high skill buff. Your screenshot would match a +39% buff (which is the same Security core/base buff that is applied to get the base stats for your EV Suit Gorn and Suus Mahan T'Pol). If your active buff is not 39%, and thus not applied correctly, then a ticket is likely in order

I have all collections completed so have all bonuses maxed here's my same 3 crew, then my top 4

I don’t think the OP knows or realizes that generally, crew designed with Gauntlet utility in mind have lower Base stats. It’s a trade off, as it would be pretty game breaking to have a crew with both a big Base and big Proficiency. A notable exception is Gary Seven, who was a baller for many years due to having both strong Bases and Proficiency. Check any Gauntlet Exclusive, or any of the top-rated Gauntlet crew on DataCore.

Send in a ticket is something is off.

I use the same 3 characters to clear all nodes. It helps to save Quipment. Sometimes I need to make a change on Dark Ages McCoy depending on Security and Med numbers.

It seemed like they did. But, now I'm not sure. I just farmed enough Sec components to {mostly} get Worf Quipped, and he cleared it. Maybe I was wrong.

Yeah. I'm +39% between Collections and Fleet. I must have been remembering wrong. Maybe I was thinking of someone with another Skill that is over 2000. My bad.

It's not liked they never nerfed a crew before and didn't inform the players......

That's the main thing that made me wonder. But, this time it was just my memory impairment.
