Traits change mid-voyage

Happened for the third time in a row. Voyage traits are suddenly different from when the voyage started. First I thought I made a mistake. Second time I wanted to kick my own bottom very hard for making the same mistake twice. Third time, and I'm convinced it's the game and not me. Next time, I'll take screenshots.
