Do not waste dil on ship schematics pack. The problem is they give too little schematics. They should be giving at least 600 schematics or more. Maybe scaled down for star rating. But it is a joke to be getting 100 to 250 schematics per a pull.
Worst Chance is an understatement. I did 10 packs, totaling 6500 Dil.
Received a whopping 300 ISS Defiant schematics. That's 2 drops out of 100.
DB needs to switch back to the guaranteed schematics packs that were offered when the Borg and Hirogen ships were made available.

When we did have the guaranteed schematic packs, it still took a significant investment to max those ships, plenty more than the 6500 Dilithium I just spent.
The difference is that if I were getting one drop per pack, I'd likely keep going. I would have spent more if the pack were offered that way.
Also, thanks to this forum, I can post my results and others can decide if the pack is for them or not.
I stopped pulling because of the abysmal drop rate, and others are potentially deterred as well.
There's an old saying: "Fortune favors the bold." Well - I guess we're about to find out.
We always need a good reminder on why those packs are bad I have found patience pays off. Either a 25 dollar schematics offer will pop or something else. It's like the Gabriel Bell. Spent hundreds not to get one. A few weeks later a better pack dropped and I spent 20. I didn't get niners sisko after a few pulls and stopped. I am learning! Also guaranteed schematics packs do give you hope vs getting nothing while someone gets 600 in one pull.

According to Memory Alpha, "ISS Defiant" is indeed the correct designation for Smiley's vessel.
I have a question for someone who has the ISS Defiant: Can you show me a screen cap? I really like how the Defiant itself is more "yellowish" than the standard Defiant-class starship. I want to see how the ISS Defiant looks on screen.

Yeah think I wont bother buying another pack. These things will probably be the last ones on the list but eventually they'll cycle around to be monthly arena rewards. Fun ships to look at but lets be honest here you dont really need them, the arena will forever remain a sea of Bounties, Bird of Prey and Borg Spheres
I have the same offer, all be it for ££ sterling. I'm not sure what the benefit of this over the ISS enterprise is? Its not like the 2300 schematics fully level up the ship either?
Unless i'm missing something then its an easy pass?

Not likely. Until you actually see them in packs, don't believe it.
The info icon says it's the one Smiley built.
Siskos should inherently be getting good drop rates on the Defiant.
