"Cancel" Option Needed For Shuttles

JhamelJhamel ✭✭✭✭✭
Even if the time frame for such a cancellation was short (let's say a minute or two), it would give us a chance to cancel a wrongly boosted shuttle.

Example: I want to do a 90-minute time-boosted shuttle, instead I pick the 9-hour double-reward boost and click "Send". Well ... now I'm in trouble. The only way to get the shuttle back immediately is to pay 600 Dilithium (almeowst worth a ten-pull premium pack in the time portal or also like an event ten-pull premium portal).

I am sure lots of others have experienced this as well and would love to have such an option. We've just discussed that in our fleet chat and that's why I'm bringing this up, on behalf of most of the members of the fleet I'm in.

I’m totally on board with this. I tried to send four Terran shuttles to get emblems. I accidentally sent Section 31. D’oh!!!!

Well, at least a fair number of mirror crew also need S31 stuff. :#

But yes, +1 to this idea. I've suggested it several times myself, so I hope they implement it at some point.

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

I know, usually bumping an old thread isn't the "fine English style", but this is really something that could so easily be added even in a stealth patch. Any word on if this is doable soon?

I would like to include the option to not just cancel a shuttle that has been launched but to cancel a shuttle mission entirely (and return the Transmission to the stack).

I have lost count of the times I have clicked on the Transmission button during a shuttle event knowing that I am never going to run that mission.

That would be sweet as well, Hunty. :)

  • Agree. There should be a scrap mission button. you lose the mission and any boosts but you at least get your crew back. There should also be a confirm action button so you don't accidently cancel a mission.
  • Agree i sent my 4 shuttles on a standard 3 hour mission forgetting that this shuttle event started in 30 mins and agree you should loose the mission point and any boosts you used as punishment for being so foolish.

I'd love to decline a mission and have it disappear without waiting 12 hours. But there's no way you should keep the transmission. There has to be some consequence, especially during events.

  • We’ve been asking for this for a log time. DB...hear the call.

Its an Abandon, like what you get for Voyages.
Maybe rephrasing it like that will help.
  • It would also be nice to be able to put back a shuttle mission ticket that you clicked on by accident and haven’t assigned a crew to. Or even be able to just delete it, so you’re not sitting there looking at “one” indicator Instead of the countdown timer for 12 hours while running event shuttles.

Edit: I just saw this was already suggested.
  • I just sent a wrong shuttle out...figured it out the second I sent it!
  • I would like a decline mission button too, I would happily give up the ticket, but I just had 4, 5 crew missions, but to staff them and then have to use boosts would be all failed missions anyway.

I hate having the indicator sitting there too
