Remember ship names for voyages

I have a name I want to use for my voyages, but it includes a code to color the name.and italicize it. This takes time and trouble to set up. If I send two voyages, it remembers the name unless the game has been restarted. If the game is restarted, it forgets the name of my ship. Can the ship name be remembered even after restarts?
