May be a clue to problem with battling number one winning and ending up some other rank.

I have two accounts. WaldoMag account just beat the number one ranked ship that had Scotty as one of its crew. I do not have Scotty. Crusoe is rank two. Crusoe goes in for attack. I see the ship that WaldoMag defeated not WaldoMag’s ship. I check leaderboard on Crusoe it shows WaldoMag number one. Go back for battle still the ship WaldoMag defeated with Scotty. I hit refresh or reset what ever it is, to get some other rank to battle. Now I get WaldoMag.
If I had battled that other ship and won (which is actually pretty easy compared to O’Brien) , I would have gotten the rank that WaldoMag was before he won. My assumption there.
