I'm wondering if blamblam is in the same boat as me... They are resolving the issue, but it hasn't been resolved for met yet. Maybe that's what they meant?
The issue is even though they have said there is a policy about the Picard issue now, CS is NOT FOLLOWING IT. And there is still a lot of heartburn over the Crusher event before that, but Shan just killed that thread. As far as I am concerned, I am done $pending until BOTH issues are fixed, and a REAL apology occurs. Otherwise, frankly, I am hoping that people pull away from the game and let it collapse, because any company that treats customers (paying and not) like this, DESERVES to fold.
Being a repeat, this may be a difficult event for a true boycott. In my case, I already have Young Khan and Mirror K'Ehleyr immortalized. I have only seen the 1st episode of Discovery because I refuse to pay CBS to watch one show that should have been broadcast anyway. Therefore I have no reason to care at all about Voq. Not to mention that he would be my 40th Klingon (28th of 4* or better), I can probably get by without him. Finally I consider Dukat to be out of reach. It doesn't leave me with much incentive for this event, and I'm sure there are quite a few others out there with similar circumstances that feel the same way. I'm willing to bet that spending drops more due the nature of the event than any boycott. A boycott would probably be a lot more effective in an event that isn't a rerun. Of course since I am monthly card spender (VIP 6) that has spent a total of $5 outside that in almost 2 years I'm not really planning on boycotting anyway.
I got to 5000 VP and stopped. I probably wouldn’t have gone much farther because it’s a Galaxy event and there’s no way a normal person could get a ranked reward worth having but I'm definitely not going to buy chrons, even to use on leveling crew.
I was WAY past 5000 before I ran out of the 894 Chronies I started with. And then collected 350 more, so I was past 12000. I'm at 39,690 and did not buy any Chronies. What did you start with?

I don’t remember now but I had maybe 100 chrons on hand when I started. I think I collected the first chron-bearing threshold in order to keep going to get the free supply kit.
Regardless, I did not buy any of the chron boosts from the Time Portal nor have I completed a voyage...I only used a reward from the event and what I had saved up overnight.

Holding steady at 225 VP for the event, which is where I will be at the close on Monday. Doing my voyages and shuttle missions, and spending not one dime of real money from here on out.
After seeing what a poster spent to finish THIRD overall last week (on another thread), I finally realized that spending further money on this game is completely futile. I will take what comes along for free, and call it good.

EDIT TO ADD: Since @Shan was nice enough to post and reassure us that we ALL will be appropriately compensated, after spending on the DYC, I bought a 1250 Chronie pack to support the game.
For the record - those of us that missed out on Troi don't feel appropriately compensated.
I did notice most of my fleet, even one guy who is notorious for going hard every time and ending up top 300 usually, only made 60000s. We just did not care.

If this were a Faction event it would be harder to resist but this is yet another Galaxy event. I know I won’t rank anywhere near high enough to get him, so I have to hope the community 10-pull will have him...

I'll be going threshold again. I'm not likely to compete in galaxy / hybrids until I see some improvements, unless there's a particular card I like. I hope Burnie is threshold, otherwise this coming weekend is going to be a real fizzle for me.

Nothing has changed for me. I am F2P here on out. The ROI doesn't merit spending any more money here.
I'll be honest, I'm not doing boycott. But I'm not exactly enthusiastic at the moment. I enjoy playing, but not when the odds are stacked against me or I'll spend ridiculous amounts of time and money trying to get something I really want but the game fails and I don't get any love from DB
I will not spend one more penny until the Picard/Troi AND Beverly short event/ticket fiasco are publicly and appropriately resolved. And so far, neither one is, because in the Troi/Picard case, they have not fixed it with everyone, and in the Beverly Short event ticket fiasco, they keep doubling down on how their compensation was "appropriate" instead of a totally clueless kick in the junk.
No I will continue to withhold my financial support for the game, and I strongly encourage everyone else to as well.
