Imbalanced Gauntlet stats for equivalent crew

I've had at least 3 recent occurrences of one of my FF FE crew members in a gauntlet round having lower stats than someone else's equivalent crew. Bridge Officer Troi and Mirror La Forge have been two of the most recent. How can this happen? Has anyone else experienced it or reported it? I wasn't able to find an equivalent thread and I haven't heard back from DB support.

    Ah. Thank you. It was driving me nuts as to how I missed out on those stats with fusing and equipping crew.
