Intergalactic Dictionary

An urban dictionary is helpful in understanding slang terms used that not everyone knows the meaning to. I am starting an intergalactic dictionary to help us understand terms DB uses.

Slightly- A decrease in chronitons, that is correlated with the size of the sun to the size of Delaware.

Soon- A timeframe that is to take place soon compared to intergalactic space travel.

One Time Offer- One time this week.

Event- Something that takes place most of the time playing, and is actually the point of the game now.

I am a glass half full kinda guy with a lot of sarcasm, and I give DB the benefit of the doubt most of the time, and in general I am satisfied with the game and gameplay. Please have fun with this post, and save your over the top chat room outrage for another post.

Except the one time Crew drops like the Clown, etc from Voyages.
  • New Super Rare Crew - Common

New Uncommon Crew - Ultra Rare

  • How about one for RNG

Basic- Item requiring dozens of attempts at a single mission to receive. See basic science experiment.

Rare- Something plentiful and readily flushed out the airlock. See Rare Crew.

I totally agree on the rare comment. I have had Talos IV Spock so many times I could fill all 5 of our new crew slots with him

It's been explained that for them, a "One_Time Offer" means it cannot be claimed more than once each time it is offered. {As opposed to {for example} the 1250 Chronies/$9.99 Pack, during a Galaxy. Which is available up to five times.

    It DOES look funny, though.

Let's not forget the drop rates.

5 out of 5: means you will get the item half the time.
4 out of 5: means you will get the item half the time
3 out of 5: means you will never get this item when you actually need it.
    2 out of 5: 1 in 10 pulls.
    1 out of 5: 1 in 15 pulls.

Unless it's a common science experiment. then 1 out of 5 means don't fricken bother.

I have had instances where on a 5 out of 5 I failed about four times in a row but running a 1 out of 5 I got the same item 3 times on a single run

DB's RNG isn't something to be proud of. You should set lower expectations.

Cmon, Delaware is not 25% smaller than the sun. At least be in the ballpark with your hyperbole.

And with that statement, you just *vacuumed* all the fun out of hyperbole. :/

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

For the record, Star Trek all takes place within one Galaxy, so there's nothing intergalactic about it.

    That being said...

Legendary - When referring to Data, means "vast majority of characters"
Super-Rare - When referring to anyone else, means "vast majority of characters"
