L'Rell
in The Bridge
There is no information yet on this character. I see her in the vault but she is not one of the characters that Shan announced. Not sure when the 'official' release date is or if there is one. Does anyone know anything about her? Shan, anything you can tell us about her?

How does that work with the already announced event crew? Unless they change/add event crew at the last minute. I know there was like six last year but I can’t remember why Judge Q and Detective Dixon Hill were event (other than maybe available in packs)
Because I can't not think that every time I see them.
Also, I could be completely wrong and Q is the only Gold we get this week, but I can't see them cannibalizing their own pack sales to give away a copy of the only featured Gold. I'd love to be wrong here.
When Kol transported aboard the Sarcophagus and convinced most of its crew to mutiny and abandon Voq, L'Rell appeared to go along with Kol's plans. Kol ordered her to kill Voq immediately, however, L'Rell convinced Kol to exile Voq to the wreck of the USS Shenzhou. L'Rell then transported aboard the Shenzhou herself and revealed she was still loyal to Voq. (DIS: "The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry")
Soon after, L'Rell was working as an interrogator and torturer on a D7-class ship whose prisoners included Harry Mudd and Ash Tyler. According to Tyler, L'Rell had taken an "interest" in him; something which Tyler forced himself to utilize in order to stay alive, leading her to engage in non-consensual sex with the Human. A month after leaving Voq aboard the Shenzhou, L'Rell captured Gabriel Lorca, captain of the USS Discovery and interrogated him. She suffered burns from a phaser blast to the left side of her face during Lorca and Tyler's escape attempt. (DIS: "Choose Your Pain")
After recovering from her injuries, which left extensive scarrring, L'Rell returned to the Sarcophagus, ostensibly to interrogate Vice Admiral Katrina Cornwell. L'Rell attempted to ingratiate herself with Kol, arguing that her talents would be useful to his house. However, L'Rell later confided in Cornwell that she intended to defect to the Federation and asked Cornwell to help her get aboard the USS Discovery. L'Rell and Cornwell staged a fight in front of Kol's men, to win the general's trust.
On board the Sarcophagus, L'Rell hid Cornwell in a side room, but discovered to her horror that the room was filled with corpses – including her friends Grafk, Torath and Silrek. The outraged L'Rell vowed to kill Kol and avenge her comrades. L'Rell then feigned pledging fealty to Kol, but Kol saw through the deception and ordered her to be taken away for punishment. (DIS: "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum")
L'Rell was placed in the same side room as Cornwell, and was present when Tyler and Michael Burnham infiltrated the Sarcophagus on a mission to penetrate the ship's cloak. As Tyler and Cornwell were beamed back to the Discovery together, she grabbed hold of her former prisoner and was brought along with the two Starfleet officers just before the Sarcophagus was destroyed. L'Rell was then taken prisoner herself, and placed in Discovery's brig, where Tyler – still traumatized by the events on the Sarcophagus – visited her cell and demanded to know what she did to him. L'Rell told him not to worry, that she would never let "them" hurt him, and then noting, "Soon." (DIS: "Into the Forest I Go")

In the latest episode, Tyler visits the still-imprisoned L’Rell, who was both his lover and torturer while he was in Klingon captivity, in the brig to inquire about his increasing bouts of PTSD. The Klingon convinces Tyler to release her; when he does, she begins to speak in her native tongue and triggers Tyler to respond to her in Klingon. “What did you do to me?” he says when he snaps out of it. “I’m not myself.” As L’Rell laments that the prayer she uttered hasn’t worked as planned, Tyler locks her back up.

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

They did say Q is joined by 4 guests. We have 2* Burnham, 4* Burnham, 3* Q, and 4* Quark. So they've covered 4 guests with Q. There may only be one 5* and they gave away a copy for the anniversary.
Aaand it's official, I'll never not see that again.

You are not the only one.
Yay...im not the odd man out
Some girls do their nails. Others, their tips. Makes sense when it comes to their species.
Two of the Golds in Covergence day were both obtainable without packs.
COP Picard was ranked and CD Quark was a special community threshold.
A Third, Judge Q was pack only.
I hope L'Rell is the special community reward.

If she is, I hope it's for kahless. Get me to use my honor for something else. I have no interest in her and she really doesn't compare to Locutus or Guinan.
Now that Idea is planted in my head and I cannot shake it. I really hope that she is NOT the replacement for Kahless OR Guinan. There are SO many better choices!
EDIT: I'm perfectly ok with her being a Legendary Character, I just don't think she is important enough (yet) to be in the Honor Hall or Gauntlet.
It'll be Surak in the honor hall I'm not sure about Gauntlet though
I sure hope so! And I hope he is SCI/DIP/ENG or MED. That may be asking too much though.
Nice, I didn't know that. That bodes well for Frank's theory. I'm personally on the she's not a replacement theory, and Surak is new gauntlet or honor hall.
However, to shoot holes in my own theory, Surak showed up with Kohlinar Spock and Amanda Grayson, all an excellent synergy for a single event.
She also appears to be the "shadow" to the left of the "Elusive Treasures" Portal Tab.....
Was wondering who the other two are
Well, it must not be her. Per the info button ,she is not in the Pack......
I think that's the definition of bait and switch.
Except, it looks nothing like her shadow in the Cryo Vault.....
I think she might show up sometime after 1200 Eastern Saturday, listed as a Reward of some kind.
Maybe.
