Truth: The number of openings fluctuates.
Sort of Truth: Event ranking matters.
Not Truth: I am the Crystalline Entity.

Greetings from somewhere in the Trekverse! Our crack staff of Occifers is busy working on realigning our Squadrons by continent & timezone, so I decided to hide out from them here in Fleet Central and recruit active daily players.

We do not require spending currency of any sort, nor minimum number of immortalized crew, nor much of anything else, really. We like to keep our requirements simple:

    • Captain Level >= 20, fluctuates depending on Fleet members' average level;
    • Event Rank > 0, because we all like the free 10X premium portal pull from Galaxy Event Community Rewards; and
    • Unique Name, so we don't wind up with umpteen ubiquitous members named "Captain".

Please look for us on your Fleet UI, or drop us a line here like @guest_930950765469697 (a.k.a. Roxton) did, and we'll get in touch with you post-haste!

I could be clever, but here is the truth: We are a casual Fleet, and we are looking for like-minded players. Several players, actually, since our recent "down-sizing".

We do not require spending currency of any sort, nor minimum number of immortalized crew, nor much of anything else, really. We like to keep our requirements simple:

    Captain Level >= 20, fluctuates depending on Fleet members' average level;

Event Rank > 0, because we all like the free 10X premium portal pull from Galaxy Event Community Rewards; and

Unique Name, so we don't wind up with umpteen ubiquitous members named "Captain".

Our Starbase is level 45 46, so we have a ways to go. I invite you to help us get there, but there is a catch:

Have fun. Above all else, this is a game, so have fun.

  • Galactic Phoenicians? Hey, I know you...

Just to provide a 2nd opinion, I joined this fleet a couple of months ago after seeing the earlier posts, and can confirm that yes, it is laid-back, fun and friendly. There are no requirements to join (... oh yes, except a name. Do choose a name.)

Yet with everyone competing in events only as much as they feel like, the fleet still generally finishes top 500. With plenty of tips in chat to help everyone along. (No external chat app requirements.)

Starbase is level 47 and growing, and there are still some vacancies. So yeah, you can join a powerhouse fleet and probably get more fleet rewards in the short term... or join us, have more fun, and help us build our way there.

We currently have members spread from America through Europe and into Central Asia... and would love to cover more of the planet!

If you’re at all interested, post here / send me a message / send one to Peregrine (who’s much more familiar with this forum than I am...). And see you soon. It’ll be fun!
  • ~peregrine~~peregrine~ ✭✭✭✭✭
Yes, we Galactic Phoenicians (OAO) keep improving, just posting our best Fleet ranking ever in the rerun of Rule 125. We still have plenty of seats available, too, for what I like to call "CCC players":

    • Cool: Just go with what the game gives you (we all have wishlists, though)
    • Casual: Just do your best and have fun, above all else.
    • Competitive: Just know that some of us like to try really hard in Events

Most of us are active daily as we work on building our crews and Starbase OAO (stupid holoemitters). Sometimes, though, other stuff in life takes precedence over gaming, and we respect that & encourage players to take a break if/when needed. Basically, we just want to help each other get better.

Free crew slots wouldn't hurt, though. ;)

Yes, folks, as you can see, our Admiral, Mr Lee Spock, is "under the weather" in real life. If the H1N4Z9 "Tequila" virus has made the jump from Risa in cyberspace to Sol III in meatspace, all of us in STT-land are in for a world of hurting. All joking aside, though, we are keeping him in our thoughts and/or prayers.

In the meantime, y'all are stuck with me again, the Fleet XO hot on the recruiting trail. We still have plenty of openings for players to join, and our enrollment status is now OPEN! So look for us on your Fleet UI, and keep in mind that we like to keep the requirements simple:

    • Captain Level >= 20, fluctuates depending on Fleet members' average level;
    • Event Rank > 0, because who likes barnacles on a nukelyer-powered space wessel; and
    • Unique Name, so we don't wind up with umpteen ubiquitous members named "Captain".

That's it, really. We want to help each other get better, trade tips & talk food in our nice, clean chat room, do our best in Events daily play, complete our Fleet Daily Targets to pay off our Honor "debts", build our Starbase rooms to infinity & beyond, and just generally have fun together.

And we want you to join us! So give us a holla, bring a recipe for cholla and tell DB to ... nope, can't do it, the wise & fair @Shan or one of her little people might be monitoring us for hints about our Double-Super-Secret baklava recipe. As the watch commander said, "Let's be careful out there."

    Quick-start Overview for Faction Events:

One & Two Factions (12 missions total):
    contributed by eXo|SilverRose:
So to get to 1800 VP, it's open 12, do 11 1 minutes, open 11 1.5 hr shuttles, do the remaining 1 min, open a new one and do with a 4* boost, then do the new 11 ones with a 1.5 hr boost to autocomplete.

contributed by [DC] Principia (fewer 3* boosts):
    Pull 12
    Run 3, pull 3 - 3 success - 9 1m, 3 10m
    Run 2, pull 2 - 5 success - 7 1m, 3 10m, 2 20m
    Run 2, pull 2 - 7 success - 5 1m, 3 10m, 2 20m, 2 40m
    Run 2, pull 2 - 9 success - 3 1m, 3 10m, 2 20m, 2 40m, 2 60m
    Run 2, pull 2 - 11 success - 1 1m, 3 10m, 2 20m, 2 40m, 2 60m, 2 90m
    Run 2, pull 2 - 13 success - 2 10m, 2 20m, 2 40m, 2 60m, 2 90m, 2 120m
    Run all 12 - 25 success (1800) - then you're done with the bootstrap.

One & Two Factions (20 missions total):
    (Two Factions):
    Open 20 missions.
    Complete missions for faction A.
Open and complete another 10 missions for faction A. Some small time boosts.
Open and complete ten more faction A missions with normal time boosts from 3 faction.
Complete the ten 1 min missions from faction B.

    Version B
    Open 20 missions.
    Complete 4.
    Re-open 4.
Complete the ones you just opened, leave the other 16 as reserve missions.
Repeat until you are at 1800 VP, using time boosts where applicable.
    Complete remaining 1 minute missions.

Version C (jumpstart to 2750 VP):
    Open 20 1min. missions, run 9.
    Open 9 60min. missions, run 2.
    Open 2 90min. missions, run 2.
    Open 2 120 min. missions, run 2.
    Run 7 60min. missions.
Notes: On run 7 3* speedups will work, even though they appear to say 30min left. On run 11 no speedup is required. Even though they appear to say 120 min, they will actually run as 1 min.

Three Factions (18 missions total), contributed by ZAPP:
    1. Open 6 of each faction. (Eighteen 1-minute missions open)
    2. Complete 6, open five more. (Twelve 1-minute, five 40-minute missions open)
    3. Complete the ones started in step 2, using 2 or 3 star boosts. Start six more missions. (Twelve 1-minute, six 90-minute missions open)
    4. Finish all remaining missions, using boosts to finish the ones that are longer. Tip for single faction missions - look at the time remaining to figure out which ones were opened most recently; these are the longer missions.

    Three Factions (24 missions total):
    1. Pull all 24 missions. Run and complete 4.
    2. Pull 4 (60 VP, 20min). Run and complete them with 1* boosts.
    3. Pull 4 (200 VP, 1h). Run and complete them with 2 or 3* boosts.
    4. Pull 4 (500 VP, 2h). Run and complete them (1h duration with 2* boosts, 30min with 3, instant with 4).
    5. Run the remaining 20 (2 VP, 1min). This should get you to 3500 VP shuttles.

    Three Factions (30 missions total):
Open 30 missions, don't assign crew.
Do 10 missions of one faction,
immediately open 10 missions of that faction.
Do those 10 missions with 90 minute speedups.
Finish the other 20 missions with 1 minute shuttles.
You are now on 4k VP shuttles.

... Whew! Finally, here is the easiest & most efficient method, IMO:

Any Number of Factions or Missions, contributed by Paladin:
Open all missions and complete 1 with a time boost.
Open and complete the same one with increasing time boosts until you use 2 4* boosts.
Complete the rest of the 1 minute missions.
