DB, To avoid problems with the end of this event

Should I just assume that you have fixed the problem? Or do I need to turn in all of my super rare rewards the night before so i don't get screwed out of another 5* character? Should I expect a crash as I submit a mass of Victory points 10 minutes from the end? Did you fix it so super rares are automatically claimed?
Did you take your time with this event when building it so that there is no issues?
Does it end on the right day?
Is it really a shuttle/galaxy event or did you mean shuttle/expedition event? (Guess we'll find out on Saturday)
Are you going to give away any free crew that people might have paid to immortalize already?
When this event does go to ####, do you have an action plan ready that actually makes sense?
Just checking.

but the rest of it - who knows
Was too pissed off about the Operation Earth event that I didn't play the Triple Threat event. So far this event I've had some server choppiness and a glitch where it wouldn't let me claim awards. Restarting the game fixed the claim issue. So far it's going swell for me.
That was worded perfectly, and they really should update us, on the progress of all those issues, instead of having us assume that everything is fine now.
I think people do it because they feel like they can slide up and people won't have time to counter the move, or something.
I'll probably cash in Saturday as I get some piled up. Since the ones I did not cash in last week just went to waste, since cannot even use them in Replicator.
Yes, but imho that doesn't make any sense at all. At least I haven't noticed that there is a huge sliding down at the end (well I usually try to stay 100-200 ranks above my target) without tons of items to cash in. I prefer to know where I stand and defend this rank if necessary. If I save everything up I don't have a clue where I really stand.
It's like when you get paid commission and a base salary. You plan your budget on your base salary. Your commission is extra bread in your pocket.
I would rather plan my position based off of my built rewards, which usually nets me in the 800-1000 rank within a few hours of event end. You know and I know that the whales are hoarding their rare rewards and I will lose 800 spots before the event ends. To which I cash in knowing this will put me in the 100-200 range.
Now, say I go ahead and cash in my rares as I get them. Everybody else sees that they have not hit their mark. So they push to get more rewards till the end. All the while I wake up in the morning with an hour left of the event and not enough time or money to make up for the efforts of better players that night before.
Moral of the story. You never show what's in your hand until the end. That goes for this game, that goes the same for any job, and that sure as **tsk tsk** goes for everyday life.
All that is very well said.
I do not even consider trying t o"hold" whatever position I have when I start work at 1000 the end day. Since some people post pics of having THOUSANDS of Super Rares to cash in at the end.
Usually I try to reach my chroniton cap and watch the last hour closely to be able to react but it has never been necessary to go for a bigger last minute push.
Well I guess I see what will happen next monday.
If you're between 400-1000, you can easily drop 400-600 places. It happens every galaxy event.
Welcome! Plenty of room for more deplorables here. We have plenty of beer and pretzels for everyone. All you need to join is a canned DB response that the 6 tickets WAS the compensation.
Not all companies give MLK day off.
Fortunately mine does .... woohoo off at the end of a galaxy, Huzzah!
I'm not going to bother with this one, too much fatigue after so many of them in close succession and the Christmas day Expedition ticket fiasco. Games should be fun to play, not a chore so it will do me some good just to sit back and watch people get frustrated with it!

At 1100 Monday, I will sitting at home thinking "Martin WAS a great guy. Did a lot stuff for freedom and equality. But, he is harshing my mellow right now!!!!!!"
Scott
And at about 1145 some folks were thinking, "Last recipe for Mary Jane, one more super rare will kill the pain, I feel others score creepin in, and I'm tired of crafting again...."
That made me chuckle out loud in the Library!!!!!

Hey Wendell. I’m sure I’ve been on the list since February of 2016 when I tried my first “best chance of” packs... then again in 2017 when they decided the games RNG needs to be used to give out special offers randomly and yet not so randomly random.
Don’t give them any fricken ideas. . .
No, it's Jim Raynor
Mh ok, never noticed that I had a huge dropping, I usually try to stay between 700-800, never struggled to stay in top 1k. But I rarely did it in the last Galaxy only events.
Depends on where you were at in the rankings. I fell from about 400 to around 600... some folks fell a lot futher in the hotly contested 1k zone.
outside of retail/restaurants industries, I didn't think that Federal Holidays were that optional. but after talking to a couple friends, i was very shocked to hear that MLK day is not as wide-spread as I thought it was. Very sad.
WHY? Because they were lifted en masse from the very first or second Galaxy Event ever, and then dropped in wholesale with no attempt to even change the texts.
What utter **tsk tsk**.
Ice man
I never bother reading the text anyways, totally garbage.
