Bonus crew do not appear on top

I have 2 profiles, on one of them I have Dark Ages McCoy 4/5 and Seven of Nine (with the pistol on her hands) 1/5, they do not appear on the top of the list. On the other profile I have Seven of Nine (with the pistol on her hands) 2/5, she doesn't appear on the top either

It's my understanding they only appear at the top IF they are the best character for that slot percentage wise. It is possible to have non bonus crew give a better stat boost than the event crew, especially with Seven of Nine's base stats being so low.

Yes, that is my understanding as well - the best option for the slot is given. So if you have a non bonus character that would contribute 1000 to a skill it would appear higher in the list than a non-event bonus character which would only contribute 400 (or an event character that would only contribute 300).

Although I have to say that I am not sure how the percentage works - as there have been instances when my squad leader shares a character that I already have and the second one seems to increase the percentage less than the first (even if both of the slots require the same skills).

Diminishing returns. Suppose you have a slot mission with the same skill for each slot. Adding one character gives 75% success. Adding a second copy wouldn't make it 150%.

    Standard gaming mechanic.

I have realised it's like that! I simply thought, without correctly noting how low her skill numbers are, she would appear on the top of the list.
