    As far as I can tell, he doesn't provide any specific advantage. The existing people are more than capable of doing the job.

    Q should technically be able to pass as any race and have any trait, and be able to clear a node just by snapping his fingers.

    But game balance I guess.

    as far as the game goes, the part-alien cadet missions have been pretty much defined as at-least-some-part-non-human.

    Q was briefly turned into a human, but not the florist version for sure.
