Double up offer

Are all charecters designed to recieve double up offers or a limited amount? Are Event crew when purchased before Event designed to offer a double up if they are purchased and or dropped from pack or is it mere chance at any given time. With all the server issues I don't know if I missed out on the double up offer for McCoy or mere chance that most everyone else on my team got the offer. I submitted a ticket of inquiry. There needs to be some definitive guidelines established especially when purchasing the crew from the onset.

    To the best of my knowledge/experience any 5* will get the double up offer as long as you're not in the 72 hour cool down period from a previous 5* getting it.

    IIRC DB has said before that it's not a "guarantee" that you will get the DYC offer, even if the timer is not a factor. I dunno.

    Yasmine is currently working the query issue on a ticket. I normally would not question it but after hearing some did receive it and after making Top 25 this last Event and the D.U. offer hit at that time, and knowing there was server issues yet again, I just had to question.
    Not upset just want true justification.

    I ALWAYs get/got the Double offer when the cool down period between 2 offers is 72h min. No science. Fact.

    Gornholio is correct. A few weeks ago I found (and reposted) a post from DB (Shan, I believe) that stated that you are not guaranteed to get a double your crew offer every time. (I'm too lazy to go hunt it down now, but it was either on this forum or the previous forum.)

    Personally, I got a number of Legendaries in my first several months of playing who didn't trigger the DYC offer, so it's definitely not a given.


    Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

    Same here, but like I previously stated due to acknowledged server issues I am simply looking for Clarification if the servers caused the double up offer to fail for some since some got it and some did not.

    @Shan I think I must have forgotten about this, but I do recall the 72hrs had passed when I purchased Mccoy.
    If there is a way for you to check into this it would be appreciated.
