Reminder: Gauntlet Reward Tiers still make no sense.

DB, why is it that I would much rather place 49 than 34? I'll tell you why. Because it means 7 chests versus 3.

And don't tell me they're better chests. Because they're not better. RNG decides what's better. It's not fair to place higher and end up with less rewards. How about you just ensure that better chests have better rewards?

    I used to do the same and try to fall down a few spots for the better rewards. But it is all blue trainers anyway, so I don't really worry about where I finish any more. Gauntlet is so meh these days.

    I used to get 11th for more boxes then 10. But I have better luck with 10th place now

    Long ago I said they should do quasi cumulative rewards: Say 3 crates and 4 chests instead of going from 7 down to 3.

    Makes perfect sense. It's also how event rewards already function...

    I am enacting Poe's Law and accepting your statement as sarcasm and poking at how the loot chests loot tables are terribly set up. Getting a gold chest and opening it to find a 1* item inside is definitely a Huge *Hugs* *Hugs* *Hugs* *Hugs* *Hugs* let down.

    My ego won't let me finish below top 5.

    Of course the chrons, 3/4* Components, 4/5* Equipment and the occasional premium pulls don't hurt either.

    Fwiw, I will always take any quantity of Top 10 boxes over lower tiers simply because they don't drop trainers.

    Neither do the tiered Event rewards, squadron rewards, arena rewards... Wait, I'm starting to see a theme here...

    I switched to playing for merits only with no merit resets a couple weeks ago. It makes it a lot more sane.

    I used to think this, then I tested it by falling to 11th a few times. I'd rather finish 10th; a lot of times you get chunk in either place but there's a lot less junk in 10th than 11th and if you hit a chroniton reward it tends to be something like 60 instead of 20.

    when i got my first Gauntlet Crate after winning 15 battles in a row i was so pleased and then it opened and i got 20 chronos. The bigger rewards should just have 3*/4* and portal on them and not all the previous stuff as well.

    I also said this. I put it in the old make it so.
    They should have done it. They did far more for event rewards.

    We are not asking for them to include 7 of all the different ones below. Just make all the higher ones 7 by adding the one chest type below to do it.
