How Many Gauntlet Rounds Have You Completed Thus Far?

A few months ago Enterprise Was Best asked us in this thread about our progress to date to the 20,000 Complete Gauntlet Rounds needed to acquire a copy of Locutus of Borg. Just this past weekend I got to the point where I can now see the prize on my screen, and so I thought I would give everyone an opportunity to update their status towards this Achievement via a Poll.

So long and thanks for all the fish.
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

I'd push for more rounds by going more rounds for fewer points, but I've got Guinan FF/FE and I don't want any more.
I won't say how many I've airlocked but I don't like keeping duplicates (even when they're valuable).
This is where crew trading would come in handy for you. Someone who never got a Guinan would surely trade you for one of your extras
So far, the gauntlet has been rather a disappointment for me. I got a few 5* equipments from Top 1-10 rankings, but when I ranked Top 11-15, I didn't even get blue equipment or components. A few chronitons every now and then, but mostly 2* components (not even equipment either). When I scored Top 1-10, I got 90% either chronitons or 3* components, very rarely some equipment as I said above. The best was a 5* Tequila and a 5* Toolbox which are not too hard to build if you got enough 0* ID Codes and 3* Alcohol around from adwarping (Tequila).
Yeah, I hope the next one will be more successful when a new character joins the gauntlet. I also hope Guinan will be in a rare limited-time pack some day just like Locutus was alongside the Borg Queen.
Probably nothing. There haven't been any additions to the initial achievements since launch.
I would be surprised if Guinan wasn't added to a new tier once she rotates out of gauntlet, but that's just my 100% pure speculation with no basis in anything official.
It would. This would add another layer in the economy, unfortunately it probably also adds a ton of deviance to deal with (IE: Scammers).
That being said, I recently picked it back up to try to stock up on credits and merits. Anything else at this point, would be bonus.
I don't worry about winning streaks, since I have gotten as many Locutus/Guinans from 3-/6-win streaks as I have from the higher rewards (in total, 11 copies of the 5*). If I have a clear win, I go for that, but I'm trying to save my merits. That often means sacrificing a fatigued crew to "refresh" the skills instead of paying 50 merits. And I still place top 20 every time and top 10 most of the time using this strategy, so it doesn't necessarily hurt your ranking at the end.
I quit using the feature after several wins in a row my 7 loot crates gave me exactly the same copy pasta loot each time. I could bet the house comfortably knowing what all 7 boxes give out.
I really think you should consider starting it up again, except this time plan on not spending any merits whatsoever. That's pretty much what I do now. I even used to end up in the top 10 pretty regularly, but I stopped worrying about that. I don't even really go for streaks anymore. I usually just go for the biggest trophy opponent I think I can beat (even if that means going head-to-head against a doppelganger), and then take whatever comes my way. Do that, and you can come out with a very nice addition to your merit stash. And now I never have a problem any more with buying as many items in faction stores as I need, since I know I'll make up the difference in the Gauntlet. And then every so often, I get a few lucky wins or ending loot boxes that drop chronitons. Avoiding Gauntlet entirely is like passing up on free stuff — so long as you can avoid the temptation to spend anything in there. And that's easy when you go in to each Gauntlet not expecting anything at all.

All of this. Depending on what I buy in faction stores, my merit count yo-yos between 2000 and 8000 but I would be completely out if I didn’t do the gauntlet without burning merits to reshuffle opponents. Depending on when I'm active, I'll finish anywhere from 10th to the 40s or 50s.
Random equipment and basic portals are nice, chrons are better, and a steady supply of merits is best. I’ve even got both Guinan and Locutus from streak awards, so it’s definitely been worthwhile for me.
In between is where I try to avoid spending merits. Sometimes if my crew is still fresh, I'll look for a different match-up. I can usually do about 10-12 matches every time the Gauntlet is up. I almost never try to preserve my crew and will push them till exhaustion just to tick up the achievement.
I try to keep a 2000 merit reserve. Otherwise I just spend them on the merit packs because they give me so, so many beholds. Actually that's a lie. The gauntlet gave me a 3* pull last Friday which netted me my 3rd Chang and still gives me a decent loot in general.
Meh it's boring I will never start it up again it's a dead feature to me it doesn't exist in game. It's so poorly executed i could list all its flaws innone giant TL:DR post
I play it steadily myself but am also low on rounds completed. Since I go for streaks there are plenty of 4 hour cycles where I only get one or two matches then have to stop because my ranking dictates me to face 6 Mirror Picards
