Ads played are mostly scams
I know we can't be picky with ads, since we can just set the phone down for 30 seconds and come back to claim our 24-chron rewards. But if you do watch the ads, it seems like whatever ad-server we switched to late last year is.... sketchy at best (iOS, North America)
We've always gotten the scammy game ads that steal footage from other games. I can live with those and tune them out.
Now it seems like a lot of these newer "ads" are either infomercials that use fake celebrity endorsements, or ads for bitcoin ripoffs, or snakeoil weight loss schemes, or clearly fraudulent investment opportunities. They even have some that try to lure you to websites with the promises of free stuff so they can likely try to steal your identity.
Can we maybe get a button to report false/misleading ads in-game? Or an option to "don't play this ad again"?

That said... wow, your ads feed sounds terrible. I always get advertisement for mobile games, and while I find them pointless, at least I recognize that I belong to the correct demographics.
I would be making a dozen posts a day if I had to do that.
It seems like the ad provider network I am lumped into makes no effort to screen ads and literally just lets anybody sell whatever they want. Even having some kind of a link back to the ad provider's website so I could make a complaint would be an improvement, since the copyright infringement, false drug claims, and false celebrity endorsements are lawsuit-worthy in some cases.
I was more responding to Astrometrics' comment. I think a "report this ad" link would be a great addition, whether it goes to DB or directly to the provider.
They do? Good to know. I stand corrected.
Then reporting in engineering is the best thing to do. This thread has sort of run its usefulness.
Be glad the ad server doesn’t have interactive ads. I play Word Cookies (a good brain teaser) and ads to get free coins half of the time include an interactive component, usually for crap games like Toy Blast (or the ripoff Toon Blast) and Homescapes where you can tap a few times to see how the game works...tap in the wrong place or at the wrong time and you get kicked into the App Store.
